Once the repairs were completed through line item 4, with the home owners being pleased and satisfied with the work completed, it was discovered that additional work was needed, (landscaping and concrete work), to prevent future damages. I could not complete the work untill this was completed. I never received notice that it was completed. I therefor billed Watervale homes and The home owners for the work completed. (Line items 1, 2, 3 & 4). This came to a total of $264.99. Watervale paid us immediately. I gave the home own a discount and only billed them for materials and partial labor to the amount of $194.98. Greeting,I was taken aback by this. I felt that we had a good working relationship. I felt that we went above and beyond our normal work in order to accommodate [redacted]. full and detailed estimate. We stated that we would bill according to the work completed. [redacted] seemed OK with this and we proceeded with the repairs on the original estimate keeping very close track of time and materials that were spent on the repairs on the estimate and the additional work that [redacted] requested. She was very cordial and great to work for.    The item of contention is the cleaning of the showers. At the very start and on the original estimate, there was no Labor or Material costs entered into the line item as I did not know what the cost would be to have them professionally cleaned. Toward the end of the project, [redacted] stated that she was going to have a professional cleaning company come in and clean the unit. In my past experience, cleaning companies do the cleaning of tubs and showers. Therefore, we did not proceed with that task and [redacted] was not billed for that line item that was on the original estimate. Apparently there was a lack of communication as to was to be done by us and what the cleaning company was doing.  When I was contacted via text message regarding this I was surprised that the cleaning company did not do the showers. Although we have not been paid for this item, I stated that I would do it ProBono. I was then told that the unit was to be occupied and that the access code had been changed and was not given the new code for access. At this time, since I feel that I was partially at fault for the misunderstanding, I will reimburse [redacted] the $150.00 cost that she incurred to have the showers clean and I will write it off as a loss. I want to maintain a good report with my clients and keep my standing with the Revdex.com. In the many years that I have been doing business, I think that I have had only 3 complaints, including this one, and I have responded and they have be resolved.Thank You![redacted]
