Western Express Forwarding, LLC Reviews (25)

To whom it may concern,
This was being handled through our claims service and a claim offer for the items was made to the customer which was rejected. The offer was subsequently being sent to the Military Claims Office at the request of the customer. We haven't heard anything in response from the member or the MCO's office. We can only do what we are told by them at this point. We did in fact compensate for the obvious damages done to the floor by our staff. Again this is a process by which we are to follow the rules set in place by the military.

Dear **. [redacted],Western Express Forwarding, LLC has a very good reputation with the United States Department of State as well as the United States Department of Defense as a distinguished current client. We are also prime agents of [redacted] Van Lines, Inc.
[redacted]...

contacted our sales office seeking assistance with relocating within [redacted] County, Maryland on March 11, 2014.After providing [redacted] an estimate that was within fair market value, $490.00, she agreed to contract our company to provide professional relocation services. We agreed to provide [redacted] (1) 26" truck with lift gate as well as (3) skilled movers whom are licensed and insured with our company. We do not hire day laborers due to insurance purposes.
Nonetheless, we agreed to provide [redacted] (3) hours of labor at $140.00 per hour. We also charged [redacted] $140.00 for one hour of travel time which would cover our fuel and mileage. All for which [redacted] agreed, please see attachments with customers signature).
[redacted] stated to me that the movers did not reassemble her bed upon arrival at the new location and the movers disembarked so they would not exceed the time allotted for the assignment since [redacted] Stated that cost was a factor. After speaking to [redacted], l arranged to come to her residence and reassemble the bed rails correctly. Upon arrival, I noticed that the bedrails were not bent or damaged, the wheels were not attached. There was no reason why [redacted] could not sleep in her bed. We do not practice deception as it is against our Code of Ethics by being active members of The American Moving & Storage Association.[redacted] estimate was $490.00. Upon completion, the movers exceeded the time estimated and charged an additional $60.00. The total for the assignment was $550.00. After I left the residence from correctly attaching the wheels to the rails, [redacted] was satisfied and thankful that we were able to assist her moving needs.
In the complaint, [redacted] clearly FAILED to disclose that I came to the residence instead of sending movers to assist with her initial complaint. [redacted] called me on a Sunday and threatened our company for an hour and said that the movers stole her cable box. Half an hour later, she calls me a said she found it without even apologizing for her mistake. In closure, it is my understanding that [redacted] is someone who is never satisfied and to slander a company with unwarranted accusations is not fair.
We did everything we could to accommodate [redacted] and still we get a chargeback notice as well as the complaint from your office. The services we rendered on March 15, 2014.
Should you have any further issues regarding this complaint, please feel free to contact me immediately in my office using the information provided above or on my business card.
We would like to have the complaint resolved and not affect our ratings.Thank you for your nd efforts to resolve this matter.

This is a military shipment and there are protocols to filing complaints or grievances through the proper military channels. We did receive a call from the transportation office pertaining to this move. We did everything we could to address this issue and correct the problems with the base. We...

apologize for the delay in this matter replying with the Revdex.com it was a mere oversight. Please let us know if any further action is required on this shipment.

To whom it may concern,               This was a military shipment hauled by Western Express under contract with the government. There is a process on the [redacted] website to file claims and handle any disputes. As far as I know we are not authorized to handle any...

compensation outside of this program. We can get into trouble for doing so.Thank
You ,
