Hello, this is [redacted] from Western Honda of Scottsdale regarding this complaint number.  We have settled this complaint with the customer and he should be redacting it shortly.  His vehicle is in another shop and while we feel that there has been no wrong doing we have payed for the repairs...

he has requested. Thank you, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I went to [redacted] and was quoted 4 hours labor to do a valve job at 85 an hour an oil change at 85 dollars and 2 hours dyno tuning at 125 an hour. flush rear brakes for 50 dollars 35 dollars for shims total = 675 + tax [redacted] had told me Western Honda did not do the fork seals correctly and I should get them to fix it and the brakes they had ruined. after I complained to the Revdex.com Western Honda, they said they would fix it. when I went to pick up the bike, to my surprise it was 920.00 I was quoted 675 and even on the receipt was told that if work exceeded quote to call for authority to do more, no call was ever made. Today I called [redacted] at Western and asked if he paid for my warranty work and I would like a copy sent by fax immediately he said yes it had been paid.25 minutes roll by and I start wondering if there was an invoice they paid or not, is he creating one?. So I called [redacted] at [redacted] and asked if Western had paid for the fork seal job and the new brakes and he said absolutely, I asked how much the repair was and he said he did not know, he said he was still figuring out the bill. According to [redacted] and [redacted] the bill was paid last week , you think he would know how much the bill was. [redacted] gets a lot of work from Western Honda and I think I have been made the fool here and jacked up my bill to cover the warranty work. so Western Honda clears they're name and I get to pay for the work...again. I will never do any Business with either of these 2 Companies again. neither shop can give me a truthful answer to an invoice they both say we're paid, how much it was?.   I do not want any further contact with either of these businesses in the future, please advise them of my decision to not have any further contact.  thank you.Regards,

Review: I placed a $500 non refundable deposit on an ATV, I was told it was in stock and that I could come down on Saturday and complete the sale. They pressured me into the deposit, by telling me they only had one left, and would not disclose the final out the door price. I put the deposit down, and several hours later, I was told this model was no longer in stock, and that I could get my deposit back. or take another model. I wanted this particular model, passed purchasing one from another dealer who was now out of stock, also. How could my deposit be non refundable, but it is ok for them to claim they made a mistake, and that makes it ok for them to cancel our agreement. I think they need to find me the model I put a deposit on and sell it to me at the areed to price.Desired Settlement: Sell me the model I wanted at the price quoted.

Response:

Mr. [redacted] sent in a complaint during our initial conversations prior to purchasing an ATV from us, the issue being his confusion over a "non-refundable" deposit.

Review: I had my fork seals and brakes done at western Honda at 14000 miles (fork seals usually last at least 15000 miles)

my bike is now at [redacted] in Mesa for a dyno tune and valve adjustment.

he said I need to have the fork seals done and brakes and I let him know I had them done 6000 miles ago. his advice was to go have Western do them right this time, he said they did an inferior job and they need to be done right. he let me know when they do fork seals, they last for approximately 15,000-20,000miles

I called western this morning and talked with [redacted] the Service Manager, who advised me that they give a 30 day warranty on fork seals (300 dollar service) and will not do anything to make it right. this is my first step in this resolution, next is the [redacted] office. This was terrible work and needs to be re-done. [redacted] showed me gobs of sludge all over the front brakes and said the job was done incorrectly.it has been leaking for quite some time.I gave them the opportunity to make it right and got nothing from [redacted] except no.Desired Settlement: I want them to do the job correctly this time and make sure it does not happen again.

if they can't guarantee the work, refund the money and I will take it to a shop who will guarantee the work.
