Once again our position has never changed. Several days have now passed since we received authorization to go complete touch up and adjustments from our customer (the contractor). We notified the home owner that we have received the authorization from our client to come and complete touch ups and adjustments and informed her that we were ready to come when she called and scheduled. We gave her who and what phone number to contact so to be able to schedule the time to do the work. We have yet to hear from her as of yesterday at close of business

The person filing this complaint is not our customer directly.  Our customer is the person who the complainant is referring to as a designer.  They are a contractor type person who we do business with on a on ongoing regular basis.  So to make it clear our business...

relationship is with the contractor not the home owner.  We were hired and paid by the contractor.  We will preform work and ready to complete any work on this project when directed to do so by our client not the home owner.  There is some sort of unsettled dispute between the contractor and the homeowner and the contractor has asked us to hold off on completing the project which is really about 99% completed until they can settle this dispute.  We are standing ready to complete the project with either the direction to do so by our client (the contractor) or by an order from a Judge to do so.  We are simply following the request of our client.  We have encouraged both parties to try and resolve the conflict between them.  This is really not our issue.  We are simply standing by waiting to finish the project and happy to do so and serve our client the contractor.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  These are the actual e-mails that were sent.  After waiting over 3 weeks for ANY confirmation that my shelves were going to be made so I can put my kitchen back together, I gave them until 5pm on April 28.  I then placed an order with a different cabinet company for my shelves since it was obvious that Western was not going to do anything without "permission" from Jerry, who has no authority to act on my behalf.  I just want to move on and get my kitchen back.  Now, I just need Western Cabinets to complete the "final field work" on my cabinets and I will be done with them.  I am not happy about the way I have been treated.

This is not about you being on a “holiday” yesterday.  This has been going on for over 3 weeks - you refused to give Dale permission for my shelves to be made to finish the project.  I spoke to Chris L[redacted](sp?) on April 11th after I could not get you to respond to my request for the 2 shelves.  He promised to get back to me that same day.  A week went by, he refused to answer any of my calls, so I visited Western and spoke to Dale on April 18.  He told me he was waiting for your “permission” which was not received.  You had many opportunities to give your permission to Western.  I expect a full refund of the $463.24 that was paid for the shelves that I am not receiving.  Please update me on how that will be received.
Dale, I need to be assured that if I have something that is needed for my cabinets in the future that I can contact Western Idaho Cabinets and I can purchase replacements, additions, etc. without Jerry’s permission.

So we are clear, if you make the shelves or anything else with my name or address on it, I am not responsible for payment. Jerry H[redacted] does not have the authority to do anything on my behalf. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: There is no reason to hold up delivery of the shelves.  My agreement with Ms. H[redacted] ("designer") is over and she has been paid for the cabinets, including the shelves.  I do not understand why I can’t go to Western Cabinets as someone who has kitchen cabinets made by them and obtain two shelves to match without her permission? I do not understand why Western Cabinets needs her permission to do business with me. Western Cabinets states that they do not have a business relationship with me, but they do – I have their cabinets in my home.  I simply want the two shelves that I paid for to be delivered to me ASAP so the project can be finished.  This has been going on far too long!Sincerely,[redacted]
