On may20,2018 My mom and I and kids stayed at the Western Inn in Gettysburg pa we witnessed stink bugs, spiders, telephone missing buttons and very poor attitude from owner/manager that refused to give back my refund, I spoke to this man tellung him how unpleasant the stay was, and he challenged me to make a complaint, please investigate this matter, I wouldn't recommend any one to stay there.
Hello me,mom,kids stayed at the Western Inn and was dissatisfied with the stay there were stink bugs,spiders,spider webs every where, the Manager/Owner was not pleasant about the complaint and would not refund us our money, unfortunately we had to sleep in my car.I would like this matter to be taken care of seriously, an investigatio/ inspection and I feel he should not be in business.

I would like to provide you our response in regards to the above complain as follows :- Customer checks in our motel @ 10.34 pm on 05/19/2018 and was shown the room and they liked it and there were no complains
- I personally inspected the room along with the customer and there were no bugs or anything at the time , customers were happy with the room
- Customer woke me up at around 6.30 am on 05/20/2018 and wanted refund and stated that there are bugs and the room is dirty (Which they had made dirty with thrash and confetti) on the floor, upon requesting them to show the bug they were unable to show any proof also I showed them another room to satisfy them that there were no bugs, they were adamant so refund. So they are not stating the truth.
- Customer also stated that they tried to contact at the office but nobody was there, which is again incorrect as l live here and they were able to ?nd the bell for service in the which theysay there was no bell, also l was up in the office until 1.00am (05/20/2018), customer never came to as ( l have witness that l was here)
- Also the customer stated that they had to sleep entire night in the car with kids again that is incorrect as l stated I was up until 1.00 am and they were in the room fast sleeping.
- Also customer had used our services for the entire night, they did use our shower and other toilet facility.
- Since we refused to refund, customer got angry and infarct threatened me that he will complain if he was not refunded.Lastly I would like to state that we cannot refund the amount as the customer stated for resolution of this matter as they had used our services and if the room was bad they could have returned within 15 minutes for the refund as we refund the customers if they do not like the room with 15 min.of check In. Again we would like to state that we run a clean and honest business and many times people take advantage of us stating bugs in room.
