I called them,as they are always calling my 13 yr old's daughter cell phone.They are always calling my daughter cell phone #. She has told them that she is not [redacted]. Even her vm msg she states her name, and they don't listen.I called this morning and the "[redacted]" wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise and was always interrupting me. I tried explaining to him that if they were to LISTEN to the vm msg, they would know that they had the wrong number/person. He hung up on me. I tried telling him that I have to pay for minutes for her phone, when I called back, he interrupted me again. My daughter is 13! She owes nothing and they need to stop calling.It took 3 phone calls to get it through to him that they need to stop calling my daughter. Even then I was interrupted at least 10 times. I finally hung upon him. If they call back,I'm pressing charges of harassment. Desired SettlementTo stop calling my 13 yr old daughter! She owes no money to anyone. They need to pay attention to the vm msg when calling people...if the vm msg says for instance " Hi you've reached [redacted]..sorry I can't come to the phone right now.." then maybe they shouldn't leave a vm msg for [redacted].Or listen when the caller states that you have the wrong number.They need to immediately take that # off of the call list! Business' Initial Response THIS IS A COLLECTION AGENCY WHERE HUNDREDS OF TELEPHONE CALLS ARE MADE ON A DAILY BASIS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS TIMES THAT THE TELEPHONE NUMBER WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN BY A CLIENT NO LONGER BELONGS TO THE PERSON THAT WE ARE TRYING TO REACH. 99.9% OF THE TIME WHEN SOMEONE CALLS US UP AND LETS US KNOW THAT WE HAVE A WRONG NUMBER, WE POLITELY APOLOGIZE AND LET THEM KNOW THAT THE NUMBER WILL BE REMOVED. EVERY NOW AND THEN, WE RECEIVE A CALL FROM SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO INEXPLICABLY SCREAM, SWEAR, AND THREATEN US TO NO END. IN THIS CASE, BEING ONLY A FEW FEET AWAY FROM THE PERSON WHO TOOK THIS CALL, I HEARD HIS WHOLE CONVERSATION WITH [redacted]. [redacted] TRIED AT LEAST 6 TIMES TO APOLOGIZE AND RECTIFY THE SITUATION BUT WAS CONTINUOSLY CUT OFF AS [redacted] WOULD NOT LET HIM GET A WORD IN EDGEWISE. MOST PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT THERE COULD BE NUMEROUS COLLECTION AGENCIES TRYING TO CALL THIS NUMBER AND THEY'VE PREVIOUSLY SPOKEN WITH ANOTHER AGENCY. WE TRY TO EXPLAIN THIS AND MOST PEOPLE ARE RECEPTIVE AND UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION. WE INSTRUCT OUR EMPLOYEES TO END A CALL IF THE PERSON TO WHOM THEY ARE SPEAKING CONTINUES TO BE ABUSIVE AND THREATENING. [redacted] ENDED THE CALL AND REMOVED THE WRONG NUMBER. WHEN [redacted] CALLED BACK,[redacted] TOLD HER THAT HE REMOVED THE NUMBER AND AGAIN SHE STARTED SCREAMING. I UNDERSTAND HOW A PARENT COULD BE UPSET WITH THIS SITUATION, BUT THIS ALL COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF SHE JUST CALMLY TOLD US THAT THIS IS A WRONG NUMBER, PLEASE REMOVE IT. THE NUMBER HAS BEEN REMOVED. UNFORTUNATELY, THAT SAME PHONE NUMBER MAY BE CALLED BY OTHER AGENCIES. HOPEFULLY, [redacted] WILL NOW UNDERSTAND AND DEAL WITH THE SITUATION ACCORDINGLY.

I sent money to them for collection of a dental bill. The money was never given to my dentist, so according to my dentist I still owe them.2 payments made Nov 1, 2013 for [redacted] and another on Dec 30, 2013 for [redacted] in each case I was charged a service fee. The money was collected but never forwarded to the dentist.Desired SettlementI just want my dentist to be paid.Business Response THESE PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN PAID TO THE CLIENT. AS SHE WAS TOLD YESTERDAY THE CLIENT HAS NOT POSTED TO HER ACCOUNT. WE HAVE CONFIRMED WITH THEM YESTERDAY, ALL THAT IS NEEDED IS A PHONE CALL BACK TO THEM AND ASK FOR [redacted].

they keep calling methey keep calling and they have admitted they have the wrong person but they keep calling. they said the information they received, name and number are associated. They said they are not calling random people with the same name. So someone is using my name and number for credit purposes. That is a problem and I want information about that. Desired SettlementI want information about who is using my name and number for credit purposes Business Response Our system has called [redacted] 9 times. The first time we actally spoke to him was on 12/5/13. He advised us that we are calling the wrong number. We removed it immediately per protocol. Most people don't realize that many different collection agencies could be calling for the same person and think that we are the only ones who has called.Itwould be foolish and a waste of our time to keep wrong numbers in our system.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They didn't answer my question. How they got my name and number? They told me that the name and number they received as a contact for a collection was my name and number. They also told me that they don't randomly call people with the same name hoping to find that person that owes them money. So I have to assume that someone is using my information to get credit and it's alarming. Its possible identity theft and I have to assume that they are aware of that possibility. I would like them to tell me how they received my information or a better explanation. Thanks
