I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I never received the notices. I was told on the phone they just updated my address and mailed the check I just sent them back. So in their system it was a different address then what I currently have.

Hi,
I first want to thank you so much for being my advocate, I really do appreciate it
When I received the email to accept the reponse or reject it I rejected it because I dont feel it is right
I have thought about it and the truth - right from teh beginning the credit union has been nothing but problems
I had x amnt of dollars taken out because I was going on a trip to *** I asked for my money - the night before the trip I received the check in the mail and the check was not signed They were closed at that time and would not be open until I was in *** I called them and they just told me mistakes happen
When I left *** *** I called asking if I could still make deposit (at that time I had it coming right from my check) and was told by someone there that I could only make deposits if I worked there Then since I wasnt making deposits they were deducting my money that I put in the acct
When I called and said to them what I was told they told me know one there would tell me that They didnt have the conversation with the person so they did not know what I was told and should not make that statement
I was also told from the beginning that once I joined that I would always be a memeber and never said if my address changed then I would not be a member
I thought about it and not happy at all with them but we can close this as very unsatisfactory
During the time they just collected all the money I put into the acct and never gave me any benifit for being a memeber

Yes you are always a member until your acct goes to Like I said they just kept taking every penny I put in and I didnt get any benefits from it I was so upset when I saved for my vaca for *** and then received a check that they didnt sign and didnt even get a hollow appology One of my friends loaned me the money or my friend would have had to take the loss of not getting her money back for the airfair/hotel or go alone
They just took my money and when they couldnt take anymore they closed me

We will not refund any additional fees to her account She was very well aware that a fee would be charged to her account after months of inactivity We refunded fees to her twice, when our standard practice is one refund In reviewing her account, it is obvious that she would wait until she received her statement showing the fee, and then call us She would then, send a deposit for her account and months later, she would again, have no activity On two occasions she was sent a letter days in advance of the fee and she still did not make a transaction on her account I really don’t understand why she wants to keep this account She has not used it in several years
The credit union is well within our disclosure and policy’s Financial institutions charge inactivity fees on accounts for two reasons One is that an account with no activity is a cost to us Also, after years of no activity, we must send the account to the Unclaimed Funds with the State of Ohio We ultimately hope that the member will contact us and either maintain the account or close it

First of all, I apologize for my late response to this email. All three of them were in my junk email box
A notice was sent in a quarterly statement to
our membership in 2004 disclosing that the credit union was adding a fee for any account that was inactive/dormant for months of $per month until the account had activity by the member. The credit union did not start feeing the members for an additional year, after the new fee was disclosed to them
I have attached several documents that the credit union has sent to *** regarding her dormant account as far back as 12/28/2006.
The page document is a history of the account in question. The account first went inactive on 02/28/Not until 01/15/did she have any contact with the credit union. At that time she was informed about the dormant account fee and she was told that all she needed to do was one transaction a year to keep her account in an active status. She also requested that a check be sent to her at her home account on record withdrawing all but $from her account. We refunded her dormant account fees on 01/15/and on 12/30/2008. She was told we could do this for her one time
One year later, she was charged another inactive fee due to no transaction on the account. She made a deposit on 12/30/2008, so no fees were charged to this account for a year until 12/31/2009.
On 6/25/she called our office and she was told that we would refund one month period of fees and we could only do this one time. Since she receives a quarterly statement, she should have noticed the fee on her previous monthly statements. She also made a deposit on 6/25/and an additional reversal of the fee for 06/30/2010. She made another deposit on 07/19/and then due to a year of no activity on her account the monthly fee started again. After she received her statement of 12/31/she made a deposit on 01/18/and she allowed the dormant account fee to be charged again on 01/31/2014. Her account closed on 06/30/when her account reached a zero balance.
As far as her address changing, the credit union has received several address changes for her and has not received any returned mail from *** She was sent a quarterly statement each three months during the the period in question.
