In response to the complaint filed here, I would first like say that I feel sorry if the customer is confused or misunderstood what they had agreed toUnfortunately there are several issues with the client’s claim that would indicate the GPR (Guaranteed Price Rebate) was not part of their
purchaseGPR Fee was not charged to the customerThe option for GPR was not selected on the contract After verifying with First Canadian today, On used units the minimum term for the extended warranty is months not in order to qualify for GPR None of the above conditions were met in this case and unfortunately we have no way to act purely on their say soAdditionally, for the record at no time did I refuse to meet with this clientMy staff will attest to the fact that I will always respond to customers if asked, but in this case there was no request

I am responding to this email late due to where it has been sent on July 21, and then re sent on Aug 5, and I was on holidays Aug 1-
The customer contacted us about his frame steps being rusty after he was off of
warranty
We did apply to the manufacture even though he is off warranty, and we were denied coverage
After talking with the customer and giving him the news for coverage, he became very mad and started contacting all of our locations, Amvic , *** and Revdex.com
We have gone back to the manufacture and asked for good will
At this time, we do have goodwill coverage from the manufacture, and I am waiting for a email to confirm what will be covered and the time allotted
I have not contacted the customer as of today, once I receive the final information, I will be informing the customer
Due to the distance from the customers location, he will be advised to take it to his local dealer or any *** dealer in his area since he is hour away from us

I contacted my local dealer in Kamloops, B.Cin May Well before warranty would expireAfter weeks, the local dealer instructed me to get in contact with selling dealer, which I did immediately before warranty would expireI sent pictures through email confirming dates before warranty expiration dateAfter numerous phone calls and emails to manufacturer and selling dealer, I was informed of information regarding my*** trailerThe trailer was picked up by Western R.Vin late November of from manufacturer ***and brought back to Grande Prairie, AbThis is where the damage started as it was brought to Alberta through salt covered roads and once it arrived the trailer was not properly washed of salt from trailer*** Now after months of phone calls and emails to numerous individuals involved, they have come up with a partial solution*** I have been advised to take the trailer to have the necessary parts sandblasted and painted within daysThey have also proposed a goodwill payment of $alsoThis is all very well and fine , but will not stop the rust from growing in the areas that are not accessible, which is 70% of infected area*** *** The selling dealer charged for dealer prep ***Western R.Vis completely responsible for the damage to the trailer and the sales manager will not accept his responsibility in this matterThe only remedy for this rust bucket trailer is for the dealer to buy this unit back*** *** Western R.Vcontinues to accept no liability in this matterLet me reiterate that this unit was still under warranty when I started with my initial claim***

I am rejecting this response because:
I guess I should not be surprised by Western RV’s response.  Their company motto states their customers are like family, their total commitment is to quality and their company philosophy is putting their customers first. Yet at the same time they are calling their high paying customers stupid for listening to their financial manger instead of reading through every detail of every document. We know the Revdex.com is not going to help us recoup our losses caused by Western RV Country however it will help others make a better educated decision on where to buy.To recoup our losses legal counsel has been arranged due to the facts given to us by the financial manger at time of purchase.Sincerely,
