To Whom It May Concern: First of all she never contacted me the ownerI viewed the video footage that day and my employee did rightThe customer said she had brought in water and the dead fish, yes she did but, the fish was in the water to be testedThe water has to be separate from the dead
fish or it will test high in ammonia and nitrite therefore the water test would not be for her benefitAll we tried to do is test the water to make sure it's safe for the replacementShe blew up, wasn't going home to get a dam water sample for us to testEven if we replace the fish, it probity would have died as wellOur policy posted states, (copy as well enclosed) Please keep fish and water sample separate. Freshwater fish Three (3) Day Guarantee With sales receipt and sample of aquarium water Why? After day one the fish should adapt to the aquarium conditions (Temperature, pH, Ammonia or Nitriany.) Day and are an extensionWe can guarantee the fish Not the environment they go in. The environment she has for her fish, all we needed was a sample of the waterThe test is FREEWe test the water right in front of the customer. To give you a better understanding of why we test the water read the Nitrogen Cycle in our Biological Filtration Brochure. There is a number of things that we do not have control of, Did they go right home? Or did they stop to eat or go shopping while the fish stayed in the carWas it to hot or to cold in the car? Did they go right home put the fish right in aquarium or did they acclimate them? And the list goes on. We did not refuse replacement or a refundIf the aquarium water was tested ( ammonia, Nitrite and pH of to ) replacement or refund would have been made. We are dealing with live animals here (pets)We are more concerned of the wellbeing of the fish and the environment they go into. She also goes on our Facebook page (a copy is enclosed ) How do you treat a customer like this? So this is what I will do, here is her $Problem solved. Now she can go shop else whereShe is Not welcomed here because of her comment on ***
