Kuhn Honda: Insulting, arrogant and condescending I was in the market for a new car and the Honda HRV- EX-L called my attention I contacted Kuhn Honda in Tampa via e-mail, asking for a price quote on the car Tom [redacted] Product Specialist, responded with a price of $24, Since the advertising from the dealer states "Prices shown are manufacturer suggested retail prices only and do not include taxes, license, or doc fee." I asked for a total price of the car "out the door" Mr [redacted] sent the price quote as requested, but listing a dealer fee of $ I sent a reply to Mr [redacted] saying, "I thought you advertised no dealer fees What's the $for?" A very simple question, and one that I thought was valid, as it is, after all, no small change, but nearly $ To my surprise I received an e-mail from Joshua [redacted] Internet Sales Director, which I consider an insult to any customer His e-mail says, "No we do not advertise no dealer feeWe do advertise no dealer mafrom MSRP" A technicality, as their own website doesn't mention anything about dealer fees, but that's OK, it's an explanation The condescending and insulting part follows, when he says, "If the figures do not work for you, I understand and wish you all the best." This, in my opinion, is insinuating that I don't have the means to purchase the car I never bargain for the price; I simply asked a question about a charge that had not been disclosed I was in a position of buying the car up-front, without financing, but now Kuhn is out of my list and if the attitude of Mr [redacted] is representative of the brand, quite possibly also Honda

Never buy a car form here or have it serviced hereI've had many bad experiencesI purchased my Passat new from KuhnThe car has been in for oil changes and service over the course of a yearAfter removing my dashboard to replace the heater core they put it together wrong, broken plastic and in some places, left huge pieces of plastic not connectedParts of the dash board are scratched and damaged still to this dayDuring the oil changes they would forget to fill up the add blue tankThey cracked the plastic for the add blue tank also when they did fill it upDuring service visits they often would say nothing is wrong with the vehicleI would have to bring it back multiple timesThey weren't really interested in taking time to diagnose the problemI left this dealership with a year old car leaking antifreeze with broken / scratched dash boardI finally called Volkswagen corporate and had another dealership resolve my coolant leak

Kuhn Honda: Insulting, arrogant and condescending

I was in the market for a new car and the Honda HRV- EX-L called my attention.
I contacted Kuhn Honda in Tampa via e-mail, asking for a price quote on the car. Tom [redacted] Product Specialist, responded with a price of $24,284. Since the advertising from the dealer states "Prices shown are manufacturer suggested retail prices only and do not include taxes, license, or doc fee." I asked for a total price of the car "out the door". Mr. [redacted] sent the price quote as requested, but listing a dealer fee of $799.99. I sent a reply to Mr. [redacted] saying, "I thought you advertised no dealer fees. What's the $799.99 for?" A very simple question, and one that I thought was valid, as it is, after all, no small change, but nearly $800.
To my surprise I received an e-mail from Joshua [redacted] Internet Sales Director, which I consider an insult to any customer. His e-mail says, "No we do not advertise no dealer fee. We do advertise no dealer mark-up from MSRP". A technicality, as their own website doesn't mention anything about dealer fees, but that's OK, it's an explanation. The condescending and insulting part follows, when he says, "If the figures do not work for you, I understand and wish you all the best." This, in my opinion, is insinuating that I don't have the means to purchase the car. I never bargain for the price; I simply asked a question about a charge that had not been disclosed. I was in a position of buying the car up-front, without financing, but now Kuhn is out of my list and if the attitude of Mr. [redacted] is representative of the brand, quite possibly also Honda.

Horrible Experience. I was searching for a new Volkswagen and came across this dealership. At first things seemed good, a sales representative contacted me almost immediately after requesting information. When talking to the representative named [redacted] I explained the car (a 2014 Passat) I had saw online and began to negotiate the price, also informing them that I did owe money on the Volkswagen I currently own and that I would need to get a specific amount of money before "trading" my car in. When I explained the amount I was looking for [redacted] told me okay absolutely and accepted the negotiated price I offered. I keep in contact with [redacted] for a few days and when I was making plans to drive to their dealership which was more than an hour away he randomly changed the price that we negotiated on and informed me he never saw the price of the car we were discussing. After hearing this, I told them thanks for their time, but no thank you. A day later I received an email from [redacted] explaining that his manager was so desperate to make a sale that he would be willing to do ANYTHING and give me the price for my car that I requested and that they would put me into a new Passat. He tried to hassle me into leasing and when I responded back no leasing but I would like to buy and fiance the car he said okay no problem but continued to push for a lease. I informed him once more I did not want to lease but had only interest in buying that 2014 Passat. When I arrived I met with [redacted] and introduced myself he took me into his little office and then prepared to show me the numbers for the new car I told him I was interested in. When I came back from test driving the car he took my car for an appraisal which for me seem quite odd considering they already promised me the price for my car. When he came back the price he told me they were offering was a dramatic difference. I asked to speak to the manager on duty, when the manager came over I explain that I had proof in writing that I was offered one price but after driving over an hour to get here I get told another. The manager was extremely rude, he continued to cut me off when I was explaining the situation, and tried to over talk me when I was showing him the email his associate wrote to me regarding the negotiations made. He then had the courage to tell me they would have given me the money offered if in writing someone else offered me the same, which was never mentioned in the email I had gotten, and also told me when they say NEW PASSAT they mean a 2015 lease. Long story short, after about 10 minutes I got up and left. This is by far the worst management and communication I have ever seen from a business. I highly recommend that people stay clear of this dealership. There is nothing but lies, poor customer service, and extremely rude management.

Went there and was initially impressed with them. Then came the actual closing of the deal. First day the car skyrocketed in price with a multitude of hidden fees they refuse to tell you about. We work out the price it will come to after a few hours of negotiations. Go home so we can speak to the bank and work out the finances. Come in early the following day and when the salesman writes down the final price and yet again there are more hidden fees that raise the price another $1,000. This is not the tax, titles, or tags. He wrote a final price the day before and beneath it wrote "+Tax Title Tag" and then added more fees when we came in to close the following day. Management was spectacularly unhelpful even though we had in writing what the salesman had written down. Terrible experience and would stay away from this place. Advertised prices will be at a minimum $2,000 below what they actually charge you.
