I am rejecting this response because the description of the product is indeed deceivingThe color is not indicated, the picture not clearly shows the color eitherBut the main thing is that decorations on the product (that were discovered when I received the product) is not shown on the websiteIf I knew that there is decoration on the gloves I would never bought themI was deceived by the picture and lack of description and would like to get reimbursed for return shipping that I spent because of the deceiving website entryMe being falconer or not has nothing to do with honorable and honest business practicesI don't have to make any assumptions when I buy products onlineI want exactly what was pictured on the website - if it is different from what it is shown, then stand corrected, reimburse all the expenses connected with it and go on making honest businessWhat I see now is a bad, dishonest practice.

The claim by the customer that they were deceived by our website is simply not true. 1) The customer claims the Gauntlet ordered on our web site was green but in fact the glove was not advertised as being green and the picture clearly shows the glove being black. However, upon viewing the gauntlet on several different monitors it was seen on one, in another location, that there was a slight green cast to the picture of the gauntlet. We think the customers monitor is simply not calibrated correctly. The customer did not contact our company to clarify whether or not the glove was green before purchasing it. They simple assumed it was green without any information to support that idea. We have sold hundreds of these gauntlets over the past 20 years and have never had a customer expect it to be green. However, we sell to falconers (those who fly hawks) and this customer is obviously not a falconer. It makes one wonder why he purchased both a left and right handed falconry gauntlet in the first place when falconers only utilize one. 2) The customer was unhappy with the applique on the reverse side of the falconry gauntlet—which are entirely common on all falconry gloves. He claims he was deceived as a picture of this applique was not shown. As it turns out the applique is both decorative and functional but the customer would not have known that not actually being a falconer. 3) Our company promptly refunded the customers money for the purchase upon return of the merchandise. Normally, we charge a 6.5% fee for restocking and return of items chosen incorrectly. In this case we did not assess that discount to the return. Oddly enough, the return shipping and the waved return fee are very close in value. This customer will not be receiving a refund on return shipping as it was their mistake when the purchase was made. The item was advertised on our website and delivered to the customer in an undamaged and functional condition. This customer immediately threatened our company with a complaint with your bureau and said they would spread bad information in as many places as they could if we didn't give them the money they wanted. Apologies, but this company does not yield to extortion. This is a direct quote from the correspondence that we had with this customer:"If you will not reimburse me my return shipping I will have to raise the case with Revdex.com and also share my unpleasant experience on Yelp, Facebook and thematic forums. I think that your reputation and good name is worth reimbursing me my shipping."If this person wishes to explore these other avenues we welcome the challenge. We have 20 years of good customer service and our customers are staunch supporters of our products and service.
