The below mentioned complaint has been settled as Mr. [redacted] has stopped payment on the credit transaction.Western Truck Parts Will not pursue payment as the Disputed part was delivered back to western truck. [redacted]

Review: I bought a part(small part of fan clutch) off the shelf on July 8th and was informed by the mechanic on my way to him that I needed a different part so I purchased the right part(whole fan clutch). as I had called in for the different part but I guess the salesman picked the wrong part. I went back on July 14th to return the part with box sealed as provided to me and they told me that they don't carry that part anymore and they wont return it. I asked for manager and manager approved it, but salesperson said manager asked to charge 25% for restocking fee as they don't carry part anymore. I argued that I didn't place special order and shouldn't be charged for restocking fee as according to them, they told me I can return within few weeks without any problem. After further argument they said the part is used that is why I have been charged 25%, I never even opened the box and it was in the trunk all that time. I called my credit card company to handle the issue. I have all the reciepts and the pictures of the box and the part when I returned. Also I have the receipt of the part that I bought from another merchant on the same day.Desired Settlement: Even though I am currently having my credit card company working on it, but I want smoother process and want everyone to know about their dealings. I have heard from multiple people about their mishandling of things and cheating customers. But it is important for everyone to know and be careful as it is better off not to deal with them and look else where.
