I purchased an F-truck earlier this year, 2016, from Westfield Motors in Noblesville, INI gave the owner his asking price as he would not negotiate the priceIn November this year, I was hit in the back while stopped at a traffic lightNot one was hurt, but the bumper and passenger bedside panel was damagedWhen I took it to [redacted] body shop, they said it had been wrecked before because of apparent body filler, bondo, was visible from the damage and there was even more damage underneath from a previous accidentI had no idea it had been wrecked before until they informed meWhen I called Westfield Motors and explained the situation to the owner, he informed me that it had been wrecked by his brother-in-law in the front endI said, "so it has been wrecked twice because I was hit from behind and the damage was in the back." He explained that he had hit a post when backing out of his lotSo it has been wrecked twice before I bought it and he never told me anything about this at the time of purchaseI told him that I would not have paid him the asking price had I known at the time of purchase that it had been wrecked twice and asked if he would be willing to share the costs of repairs, as more than half would be coming out of my pocket nowThe body shop said they couldn't make repairs properly because of damage done previouslyThe bedside panel could not be repaired and new parts would not properly fit because of previous damageThe insurance company would not pay for repair of damage done previouslyHe said, "NO" to helping pay for the repairs that, obviously were not done properlyThen, as we were finishing the conversation, he said "Good luck"The truck looked fine from the outside, but the damage that was done from previous wrecks was also underneath and could not be seen without crawling under the vehicleI would not recommend doing business with Westfield Motors as you may not get the whole truth about the vehicle you want to buyThis type of doing business is what gives used car dealers a bad reputation
