Westin Convention Center Hotel

Review: On 10/14 I prepaid for a hotel room knowing that the room was not something which could be cancelled, however 3 hours after making my reservation my client asked me to reschedule for another day. When I called the hotel they said that I would be able to cancel my reservation since it was within 24 hours and they proceeded to send me a cancellation email. Based on this information I proceeded to change my plans and visit my client only to find out from my credit card company that Westin was not going to remove the charge and is simply ignoring the cancellation email I received.

I fly all across the country for business, I'm a Starwoods Member and although I might not always use my Starwoods card I have always tried to find a Starwood Hotel near my destination even if the price was a little more expensive than other hotels. Companies like The Westin no longer seem to care about their prime customers, business travelers like myself and are more concerned with profits than service. Based on the clear disregard for their own cancellation email I will never have any of my employees stay at a Starwood Hotel again.
