Ms***, I received your information from the Revdex.com After researching the matter, I understand that you had a reservation with us for three rooms and had asked for adjoining rooms I apologize that we were not able to accommodate your request and that the rooms that were assigned to you smelled of smoke As you know, we had no other rooms in the hotel, so we had to relocate your guests across the street to another hotel and paid for the three rooms including breakfast Since you had already checked in at our hotel, there was an authorization totaling approximately $on your credit/debit card That was released on our side on when our system closed out that night Sometimes banks can take up to days to release pending authorizations depending on the institution Please let me know if you do not see that drop off and I will contact your bank Again, I apologize that your experience with us was not as you expected This is not typical of the service that we provide at our hotel and we have addressed it with our team We strive to create memorable experiences for all of our guests and we fell short on this occasion Please let me know if I can be of further assistance [redacted] General ManagerThe WESTIN westminster [redacted] D [redacted] ***[redacted]
