West lake have a lot of hidden fees that the do not completely disclose in the beginningThey bill you base on how many people is in your unit and not base on your individual usageThere is also a problem of black mold growing inside the units that is not being talk about and should be look intoI think that this place is a rip off and I will not recommend it to anyone everyThe business office and staff is so unprofessional I don't see how they are getting residents I put a deposit down on a apartment and had a date to move in and luckily I didn't cancel my other place cause the date I was five to move in was move two or three days out and I would have been homeless of that timeThen it was a problem to get my deposit back from the west lake apartments, told me it will be six to eight weeks

I have lived in Westlake Apartments for yearsThe first years, I absolutely loved it here and would have given them starsThe last few years however, have been absolutely horribleThree years ago, the maintenance team came in because my apartment had been blowing lightbulbs abnormally fast, so they changed all of my ceiling fan light kits to support regular size bulbs to see if that corrected the issueThey said they were ordering me new globes because the original globes were too smallThree years later, I still have no globes!!! And it didn't fix the problem so they said that an electrician would come check the wiringThat never happened!!! Probably because they can't keep a staff either so nothing ever gets doneOver the past years I have had my tires slashed, my vehicle broken into, my apartment broken in to twice (once an Xbox was stolen, and the next time, my year old son was beaten up!!), my vehicle has been stolen from here, and my apartment has been vandalized numerous timesJust this month alone I have woken up to someone else's trash sitting outside my door, my door and neighbor's door were sprayed with mustard and ketsup, and today I woke up to someone's vomit all over my door, when a complaint was made, pictures were taken and I was told that I have to clean it up, not the maintenance team! Also, of the years I've been a resident, I've never had any issues with bugs, however this year we have roaches!!! Despite having pest control come out to treat the building since June, the problem still hasn't been corrected!!! And when I complained about that today, I was told that they had changed my carpet and vinyl for me (but that is supposed to be done every few years and has never been done since I lived here until recently!!!!) and they will have pest control come back outIt doesn't help though and I've also talked with several other people who live in other buildings and they also have a problem so it's the whole place!! The staff here are no help, and just state you can't prove thatWell, okwhat if everyone just starts taking pictures of it? Good idea! Oh yes, the pool, when open which is hardly at all is gross with algae and stuff growing at the bottomBottom line is, I want to move because my children and I are paying $a month to live with and be eaten by bugs!!! Horrible place to live and if I could give it a star review, I wouldI do not suggest living here what so ever

requests in which the water heater was serviced within an immediate and appropriate response time and manner. At this time the water heater appears to be working properly and said unit is approximately years old. The unit has reached a temperature of degrees and shut off normally upon inspection by our Maintenance staff. We want to ensure that all of our residents are happy and would like to meet with Ms. *** to see if we may come to some resolution in this matter. I have lived in Westlake Apartments for 8 years. The first 5 years, I absolutely loved it here and would have given them 4 stars. The last few years however, have been absolutely horrible. Three years ago, the maintenance team came in because my apartment had been blowing lightbulbs abnormally fast, so they changed all of my ceiling fan light kits to support regular size bulbs to see if that corrected the issue.
