We are responding to a complaint made by *** *** made on May,21,The complaints that were described in this letter came to us with surprise because of us never having a problem in all the jobs that were performed for ***We went to her home and performed every job and finished them
and were paid for the service the same dayShe always called us back after the jobs were completed and asked for more to be performed without any complaints*** and her Mother always said they appreciated us helping them out because of their limited income to doing the projects She also mentioned several times that she had another Handyman that would help with her projects as well and that he would be able to help her if need be as well. All projects were cleaned up and put back to the same spot that we had got them from and or in the spot where she requested The Attic door was not let open from us the day of the job and we offered to shut it the day we dug out the spot for the Gazebo, but she requested another day to do it for her because of her SUV parked underneath where it was located. Timings of request to meet were always being rescheduled due to her and her Mother going to town or various placesWe tried to come several different times and excuses were brought on from *** so we both had conflicts in scheduling. The carport was done while both *** and her Mother were at the home and they watched us do the job and never once stated that we were to change anything that was being done*** never once stated that the carport was to not be attached to the home or we would of done that for her.Also we did not add on to the amount because of the third person helping us , that money came out of our pay because we needed the help and our friend owed us from helping him out from the past. *** never stated any problems with any services until we would not put her Gazebo up at a cheap price. The labor that was provided for her did require a BobcatThe weather at the time was rainy and the yard was soft due to the rainy weather and when a machine with this stature touches soft ground it will leave some ruts in the ground when used We rented the machine from *** *** because it was cheaper to do so then rent from another location for her in which saved her money because she always complained about limited incomeSo we went and got a truck and trailer and backed it into her driveway and left the trailer at her homeShe requested gravel to put down on the area that was to be dug out for the gazeboWe left and got the gravel and came back and dug out the area leaving as minimal marks in the yard as you can because of the wet weatherThen backed the truck into the yard and emptied the gravel into the area dugoutIt started to poor rain and she said it was good to come back another time. The area that was dugout was a square because there was no way of digging out a circle with square bucketIt could be fixed after the gazebo is put up by adding fill dirt to the area While leaving and backing up the Bobcat the tires slid a little in the driveway because it was raining and there were no gouges left but just skid marks from the tires We then just took the truck up on the road and loaded it there so it would not leave gouges in her drivewayWe took the Gazebo book with us and studied the work that would be required The prices she gave us were not considerate to all the labor that would be requiredShe would need cement mixed and poured and set up into a circle then the building process of the materials She was trying to force us to do work that no one else would of done for the price she gave usWe even called several businesses asking for quotes and we did not want to be used anymore because of feeling sorry for someoneWe were letting ourselves get used and we realized this by asking other businesses and changed our perspective and said, "No"We did not do anything wrong to this Lady and her Mother and tried everything would could to do the things she asked us to doShe never complained about any of our services rendered until we would not be used no more We did our best for them and did nothing wrong until we said ..no! I have her book and will mail it to her , but we are not going to perform anymore jobs because of the prices are not even in the marketWe are sorry that she has a problem with our decision ,but we can't be on call for her 24/7. I am rejecting this response because:  I am am a Christian lady and I teach in a Christian school which requires me to live a certain life style including not lying.  Bearing false witness is one of the ten commandments.  I told the truth.  My 86 year old mother, a preacher's kid, agrees to my statements and urged me to contact the Revdex.com to begin with. I am not taking my valuable time in pointing out the falsehoods this [redacted] pronounced. She has called me a liar.  There is no documentation to support my mother and myself.  Though we tried they wouldn't write it down and I know why now.  I have an electrician fixing the electric gate, BTW. When I wrote the Revdex.com, they had promised to mail my gazebo book.  I haven't seen it yet. It is funny that the people I found to finish the gazebo has no problem with putting in a circle of cement for the foundation. I am only complaining to protect others from these, I sorry to say, immature and incompetent workers.
