I was under a lease for two years from May 2018-2020. I had asked about renewing my lease in May because I had kicked my ex boyfriend out and paid his portion of rent and late fees from March 2020-May 2020 but they refused due to my ex boyfriends late rental payment history. I said okay and said that I would move out at the end of June since I had already paid June's rent. I moved out. I dropped off the keys to the office on July 1st, but I continued to get emails asking for July's rent with late fees. I responded back that they wouldn't renew the lease so I moved out at the end of June. They sent me another email indicating they were evicting me with charges of $960.00.
Mrs. was on a lease with her boyfriend and rent was always paid late. Not half but the full portion of the rent was late for more than 8months. Upon our 120 day review of all renewals we as a team decided it was in our best interest to do a non renewal for said unit. Everyone in the household was provided with an emailed 90 Day notice that we would not be renewing their lease and we also posted a 90day notice on the door. On the contract it indicates that even on a month to month lease they are required to provide 60day notice and their lease was up May 31, 2020 and they still had not turned in their key.
