Westpark Plaza

Review: After renting an apartment for only 4 months during my school term, Westpark Plaza is keeping $150 for cleaning the carpets and replacing the stove drip pans. The apartment was not only spotless when we moved, but in addition, the law states that they cannot keep any of our deposit for normal wear and tear, specifically shampooing carpets! The carpet was brand new when we moved in, and we made sure it looked the same when we left. Nevertheless, they are not allowed to charge for the cleaning. It specifically states, they cannot charge for cleaning including dirt and spots, of which there were none! As far as the stove drip pans go, we didn't even use the stove that often, and it is again, normal wear and tear. We want our $150 back. This is a blatant misuse of power for sure.Desired Settlement: We would like a check for our remaining $150, as they have sent a check for the other $450, totaling our original deposit of $600.
