This is in regards to C.C.R ([redacted]) claim # [redacted]. We at [redacted] removed fan blower to find sunflower seeds, and an abundant amount of dirt throughout blower compartment, after showing Mr. [redacted] what we have found, we cleaned seeds and dirt out reinstalled blower. We...

informed him that there may be more seed in ducting in dash that may still be trapped that are unable to be removed. In our professional opinion there is no possible way that the sun flower seeds could have caused blower motor to seize up and cause the resistor to short out. The air conditioning compressor and the blower motor is located in two separate locations the blower motor is in the  passenger compartment and the compressor is located on the engine and is run off the accessory belt. The amount of dirt in the intake of the blower compartment would be in my opinion the cause of the motor so seize up. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us.
