To whom it may concern............I disagree with everything that *** stated in his email and my wife and I still want to pursue the complaint that we filed as for the comment about the BIA contact this only applies to homeowners who have lived in thier new home for months or less*** sugeested that we meet with the BIA this year almost two and a half years after the factPlease add my email address to this complaint the one listed is for my wifeThanks and looking forward to our meeting

I am rejecting this response because: it was not communicated to me verbally or in the paperwork that the tub drain would not match.  I am requesting that WestPort change the drain in the tub to match as they did with the drains in the sinks.
Regards,
[redacted]

After discussing this matter further with our internal personnel, Westport Homes is in agreement to replace the drain stop in the master bath tub with one that matches the faucet. We will be contacting Ms. [redacted] to make arrangements for a replacement. If you have any additional questions, please contact me at [redacted].Thanks,[redacted]Division PresidentWestport Homes, Inc.

I am in receipt of Ms. [redacted] complaint regarding the bath tub drain stop not matching the oil rubbed bronze faucet on the same tub.At the time Ms. [redacted] purchased her home, the drain stop for the tub came with a chrome finish, regardless of the the style and color of the faucet chosen by the...

customer. The drain stop in question is included with the tub and could not be changed. The drain stops for the sinks do not come included with the sink bowl and can be altered. All of the Westport Homes model homes, with the oil rubbed bronze finish on the tub faucet, have a chrome drain stop in the tub.  Ms. [redacted] would have seen this during her decision making process to purchase a Westport home.Though I am sorry Ms. [redacted] is not happy with the color of the finish on the drain stop of her tub, no action can or will be taken at this time.If you or Ms. [redacted] have any further questions or would like to discuss the matter, I can be reached at ###-###-####.Thank you,[redacted]Division PresidentWestport Homes, Inc.

I apologize for not responding sooner to this complaint. As stated by Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] (customer) they closed on their Westport Home in march of 2012.The [redacted]'s did experience some water intrusion  in their basement as a result of some hairline cracking in the foundation. The cracks were...

repaired via industry standard procedure. After the repairs were made, Westport Homes took the initiative to seal all the interior basement walls with a thorough seal product. To give further peace of mind to the [redacted]'s, we employed a structural engineer to inspect the basements and provide a letter of structural integrity. To my understanding the [redacted]'s have had no further leaks in the basement, since the last repairs were made. With regard to any additional items needing repaired, I am not aware of any.The last time I spoke with Mrs. [redacted] ( late September 2014) she stated she was having a problem with her kitchen faucet and water pressure in the second bath. Though the pluming is out of warranty( 2 years from the date of closing), Westport agreed to send the plumber back to the home, pay for all labor and materials, provided Mrs. [redacted] pay for the $70 trip charge. Mrs [redacted] agreed  to this via our phone conversation. When the plumber arrived at her home, Mrs [redacted] handed the plumber a check for $70. After he finished replacing a cartridge in the kitchen sink and addressing the water pressure in at all the plumbing fixtures, she proceeded to place a "stop payment" on the check as soon as he left the home.Westport Homes has gone "above and beyond" addressing simple "homeowner maintenance" items for the [redacted]'s and cannot continue to maintain the normal wear and tear ,the [redacted]'s are placing on their home.As a result of our decision to only address items within the stated warranty, I suggest we have an arbitration with the [redacted]'s at the Revdex.com. Previously, I had encouraged the [redacted]'s to contact the Building Industry of Central Ohio to facilitate a review of their home, our practices addressing the home and to seek the industry's professional opinion of the quality of their home. The [redacted]'s have not respond to this suggestion. Please advise as to the [redacted]'s willingness to participate in an arbitration.Again, My apologies for the tardy response and I look forward to hearing back from you.Regards,[redacted]

I received an email that our dispute has been closed, I had a death in family and wasn't aware you only gave 10 days to respond, we've not been satisfied by no means, actually almost every word from Mr. [redacted] was far from the truth, we are still gathering information, I sent one email to Revdex.com around October 21, 2014 stating nothing has been resolved, please don't let this go, I'm not sure what all Revdex.com needs but we definitely want to proceed, move forward or whatever we need to do to get this resolved.

Sincerely,
[redacted]
