Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:As stated previously, during the warranty
period, the Vice President of operations had lumber installed in the attic on
occasions in an attempt to correct the underlying truss problemHowever,
efforts to cure the un-level or sagging ceiling which were to take place within
the specified warranty period were abandoned after the warranty period
apparently in deliberate default of the warranty
The Westrum Vice President of Operations
acknowledged and apparently reported
on so it is pointless to dispute any qualifications
or for me to provide a copy of my report for any planned debate as it serves no
purpose in getting my ceiling fixedAs for Westrum’s Website, Westrum
admitted to the world on its Website that a flawed ceiling in a home in this
development was repaired; so this is quite relevant to my ceiling not being
repaired under the warrantyAlso, I learned that the flawed ceiling in the
home of another neighbor in this development was fixed recentlyBoth the coordinator for Westrum's Warranty Hotline and Westrum's Warranty know the correction of the flawed ceiling was not done during the warranty period and abandonedAdding spackle does not correct the flawed ceilingThe spackle is now cracked in places. However, I will telephone Westrum's Warranty Hotline again per recommendation to see if correction of the flawed ceiling will be scheduled, resumed, and completed.Regards,

The homeowner of Lot #[redacted] Drive, notified Westrum Byberry, LP ("Westrum") of issues she was experiencing with her drywall seams as part of the routine 30-day warranty service inspection on or about June 23, 2016. From a period of July/August 2016 through November 2016 Westrum...

scheduled multiple contractors including a representative from the drywall company to address her concerns and make the necessary repairs to the seams. Also, Westrum's Vice President of Operations visited the homeowner on September 28, 2016 to personally assess her concerns with the drywall and to assist with the scheduling of the repairs.A plumbing leak occurred on October 19, 2016 at the hot water heater tank. The homeowner contacted Westrum's emergency line and a plumber that was at the community was immediately sent to her home within minutes. However, upon the plumber's arrival, there was a delay in entering her home because the homeowner did not answer her door or phone, which as a result caused further water damage. The plumber investigated the cause of the leak and determined it to be inconclusive, but had a suspicion that the leaking connection may have been tampered with or damaged as there was a visible cut in the pipe. Nevertheless, Westrum made the repair and cleaned up the water. Due to the leak, there was extensive damage to the majority of the flooring in her home. Westrum did not hesitate in addressing this repair and replaced all the damaged hardwood flooring on December 13, 2016.Subsequent to these events, the homeowner was not satisfied with the replacement hardwood flooring that was installed and continued to complain. Westrum again agreed to replace the flooring throughout her home, even though the flooring Company determined the replacement flooring was installed adequately and met industry standards. The most recent replacement flooring was installed just last week on 5/11/17 and 5/12/17.In addition, the homeowner had concerns regarding a dripping Sound between the Walls. Representatives from Westrum on or about March 20, 2017 visited the home. The dripping was either never heard or simply determined to be expanding/contracting of the mechanical systems. The home is built on a concrete slab, So if in fact there was water dripping, there would be evidence of a leak on the floor or the drywall. It should be noted, other minor repairs were scheduled for today to address her one year punchlist, but the homeowner reportedly refused access to her home by our contractor because she filed a complaint with Revdex.com.In closing, Westrum has made every attempt to work professionally with this homeowner. There are several examples where work was slowed, delayed, or stopped because the homeowner felt she was being treated differently or unfairly, which is totally false.Westrum has addressed every concern as quickly and as professionally as possible with very little disruption to the homeowner and will continue to do so as required by the Homeowner's Limited Warranty.Thank you
