In response to complaint #11589280, this customer purchased this alternator on 7/1/This particular term as a core cost of $This is either paid for by the customer or then refunded when they bring the core back in or exchanged at the time of purchaseIn this case, the customer did not want to pay the core cost so he brought in his old alternator for exchangeThe customer then took the new alternator without the box and we returned the Core in the box to our vendorThis particular item is a non stocking part for us and had to be spécial orderedThe customer then contacted us on 7/20/almost three weeks later and wanted to return the Special ordered part Without the box, contacted my vendor right away to try to get the customers Core and original box backUnfortunately being almost three weeks later they had already returned the stem to their VendorThe original core along with the box at this point was unable to be retrievedIn order for me to be able to return this special ordered stem, it has to be in the original packaging, The owner was willing to help this customér outHe offered to give the customer $of the $he purchased it for even though we would not be able to recover our cost for itWe would have to put the part on the shelf with no box and hope to eventually sell this stemThis alternator fits a 1981-Jaguar XJor Vanden PlusIn my fifteen years here at Westside Auto Supply, we have never sold this item and don’t anticipate to sell in the next fifteen years, The owner was still willing to help the customer outI believe he went above and beyond to accommodate this customerI have been involved in the entire situation and at no point was anyone including myself rude or un accommodating to himAfter careful consideration we are no longer able to work with this customer unless he is able to come up with the packaging for this part so it can be returnedHe states that he no longer needed the item because his vehicle was mis-diagnosed but when asked by the owner he stated that he had purchased another unit elsewhereAs far as not being able to return an item Without the original packaging, I am sure this is standard procedure for any retailer

Hello this is *** you see these guys I was buying this alternator for my car when I was to pick it up the original box they send the core with the original box and it wasn’t my fault and they are very rude they are treating me bad I have a business and I never ever treat anybody that bad I buy this for dollarsI want my money back and they try to take advantage of me and that not right that not good relation with the customers they don't know how to be courtesy and make the customer happy they don't careIf you please contact them again and ask them to pay the full amount of my money they tray to keep dlls that's a very estif from thos people thanks please let me know

7/1/2016. This particular term as a core cost of $100.00. This is either paid for by the customer or then refunded when they bring the core back in or exchanged at the time of purchase. In this case, the customer did not want to pay the core cost so he brought in his old alternator for exchange. The customer then took the new alternator without the box and we returned the Core in the box to our vendor. This particular item is a non stocking part for us and had to be spécial ordered. The customer then contacted us on 7/20/2016 almost three weeks later and wanted to return the Special ordered part Without the box, contacted my vendor right away to try to get the customers Core and original box back.
