A water leak occurred in home we manage and the Consumer sustained damage to his rental home as a result. Numerous attempts were made to access the Consumer’s home to make the proper repairs; however, access was difficult to accomplish.The Consumer purports to have made his own repairs.To
resolve the issue, the owner of the home Westwind manages will pay the $charge considered by the Consumer to be just compensation for the repairs. In order to release funds the following will need to be accomplished by the Consumer:The Consumer will properly sign a release that we have prepared and provide that original release to us. Please have the Consumer contact us for that release.We will need pictures of the repairs confirming that repairs have been completed.The Consumer will need to agree that this is a satisfactory resolution to his complaint with the Revdex.com. Once these three items have been completed the funds will be provided to the Consumer

While we do not agree with all of the circumstances presented by the Consumer, we do agree that work was not fully completed to the standards we would expect. Based upon the suggestions made by the consumer, we are implementing procedures to...
verify and validate contractor work. Earlier this year, we began requiring before and after pictures where appropriate and confirming that performance is up to our standards.
We are processing a check to the Consumer in the amount of $2,135.20 as requested and without adjustment to resolve the situation and we thank the Consumer for bringing this situation to our attention. The check should be received by the Consumer by 8/4/15.
