Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/10/29) */ To Whom It May Concern: It is unusual for us to deal with a customer complaint through the Revdex.comNormally if we have a customer with an issue they contact our company and we will make it rightHowever in this case the customer chose to just contact the Revdex.com instead of giving us a chance to solve the issue one on one which is really unfortunate Based on the number of issues that this customer says that he has had with our company you have to wonder why he would continue putting himself through this stress I have talked with the customer about the roofing metal issue that appears to be paramount at the time that the complaint was filedAccording to the documents attached from our roofing tin supplier that supplied this roofing job it is stated that there was indeed one extra sheet sent to the job site however our customer says that he was short one piece of roofing tinI have no choice but to believe our customerThe supplier has since supplied the extra sheet of tin that was required to finish the job and we sent our own people to the job site with our own lift truck to install this sheet of metal at no cost to our customer We understand that when errors are made, no matter who is at fault, it can be really really frustratingWe always encourage our customers that if they have an issue to please come and see us and we will do everything reasonable to help fix itIf it is our fault we will take full responsibilityOur business is based on relationships and we are very proud of the many strong relationships that we have with our contractors Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/11/02) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) First, I did in fact contact several times before I contacted the Revdex.comI did give them a chance to solve the issue Second, based on the number of issues I have had with the I am no longer putting myself through the stress by contacting the Revdex.com and also by giving my business to other material suppliers [redacted] Third, I do not appreciate the subtle implication that I am not telling the truth with the suppliers "evidence" as further study of said evidence will show that I have actually been shorted sheets! Both sheets @ 107" missing however the measurement @ 106.5" were all accounted forIt is extremely important to notice that there is material missing from the sales order as well which is strong evidence that the document is falseThere is no ridge cap on the document or sheet metal screwsAlso it shows that the entire order was processed in minutes on the 8th of OctoberSuspicious Fourth, "Our business is based on relationships and we are very proud of the many strong relationships that we have with our contractors." [redacted] I may have accepted this response if it was a sincere apology and if the process was smooth and easy, however I cannot be satisfied until undergoes major changes to how they run their business(for example, I have recommended several times that they incorporate an online quoting system to help customers bypass lengthy waits at the desk, and even longer(perpetual) waits for quotes from employeesWe live in a modern time, we should be able to pull up and see all of our account activity online [redacted] I literally could not find anyone in the store that could tell me what happened to a $truss invoice, I was actually told by one employee that I must have paid it.(same person that made me come in times just to make the order in the first place) Also the people working in the yard need to have a greater attention to detail, as it seems that they constantly load the wrong materialI will avoid doing business with Wetaskiwin until they start taking steps towards becoming a better businessI will not take my complaint down until I feel that they are capable providing a service that will no longer stress me and other contractors
