NowHere is the rest of the storyThis party was to have taken place at The Skillet Restaurant on Aug 8thWe require a $security deposit to hold the room, as I only have room to rentWhen the family comes in, I use the $deposit towards the food they purchaseHis receipt he is holding says "Received $for deposit 8/8/IN HOUSE BACK ROOM DA DUDAS" This holds the room for themIf it were to have been originally delivered to a church for guests, we don't require a deposit on that
I thought I would offer him $in food, as, weeks before the event, I will not be able to rent the room and have already turned down offers for it

As far as our complaintOur food, therr was not any thing said about a deposit, on the delivering of the food, and then just leave
We have not received anything in the mail, and it is only one week before our wedding
In our eyes, this is catering, just fast foodWe also feel that the public needs to know
We also have friends, that have the same problems with the skillet
As, far as the food, goes the fast food, not enough food, and cold food
I am enclosing as copy of the deposit slip No contract at ALL!
Yes, she did hang up on my husband, I also heard the conversation
It was a terrible phone callThe Skillet would not list to us at all
She just kept saying $gift cards
Then, Yes, she did hang up on us, then, my husband call her back at 4:pm, Wednesday, 15,
We just want our deposit returned, not gift cards, to solve this matter
Now, we have week to our wedding, out of money and no food
