MsM [redacted] regarding case # [redacted] The client states we sold him fakes and reproductionsHe participated in a live auction, bid and won this lot, he contacted us with an issue on one of the tickets and we agreed with him on a refund that he requested and agreed to of $centsTerms of our auction are printed and clear and the client did being this to our attention within the allotted time period, quite some time after that he then claimed that all the items were fake, more than likely after he saw he was not going to profit from the lot and threatened to and possibly did a chargeback on his credit cardSince he already received a partial refund asking for the entire amount through his credit card would be fraud as he was told and not rudely but directlyHaving been in the auction business for 30+ years and having an impeccable reputation for honesty and fairness I take exception at having a claim filed against us because someone feels they made a bad auction purchase Below find the description of the lot as it appeared exactly in our catalogue." [redacted] "If I wanted to be unethical I could point out that no where does the lot say "original" or "authentic" but I would not do that, the lot is exactly as described a "Sports Ticket Lot" and when it was brought to our attention that one of the tickets was not authentic he received a refund that he was satisfied with based on a number we agreed uponWe did not try not deceive anyone, something we never do or try to rip anyone off.Since the Revdex.com "defends" consumers against ripoff businesses, who defends honest businesses who have a clean record and have a long standing place in the auction community without issues from bidders with "buyers remorse" or who are trying to beat the auction houseI do not think this is the case but for all we know he may have had fake tickets in house, bought our lot and swapped them outThe bottom line here is we did everything within our terms and conditions to satisfy this customer, he did not get the outcome he liked so he has filed this complaint.Everything in our Auctions is SOLD AS IS, RETURNS WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED, and WITH NO EXCEPTIONS! All of our descriptions are written as accurately as possible, with all sizes approximate, and all apparent faults notedBecause of the volume of material we place in each of our sales, some descriptions may contain erroneous information or minor faults could be missedIt would be in your best interest as a serious buyer, for yourself or a reliable representative come to our Gallery to Pre-view the items in person, or at the very least, call us during pre-view hours so one of our representatives can look at the item while you ask specific questions. This is the paragraph on our website that explains our terms and conditions and still we gave a refund based on the customer's request on a "bad ticket".Please feel free to contact me with any other information but please note in a business such as ours to have held auctions for 30+ years sold 100,000+++ items, tens of thousands of buyers and sellers and this is the worst that has come up, I think that speaks for itselfWe try but can't please every buyer out there and there are items in this group that certainly have value

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The response they gave you is full of inaccuracies, which is a nice way of saying they are liars. The initial partial refund I was given had nothing to do with the tickets being fake. When I received the items originally, one of the tickets had severe damage to the back of it, which they conveniently failed to show in the auction listing. They agreed to give a partial refund for that reason, it had nothing to do with the issue about the ticket being a fake, as they are trying to tell you. It is 100% untrue that they ever tried to work with me when the tickets were discovered to be fakes. #2, I NEVER asked my CC company for a full refund in my claim, as they are stating. I asked for the amount I paid MINUS the partial refund I had already received, so there is lie #2. #3, I never claimed that all the tickets in the lot were fake, as thy stated. The only 2 in question, were the 2 Super Bowl tickets, which are by far the most valuable in the lot. There is lie #3. I am attached a message I received from a ticket expert, about the 2 tickets in question, clearly showing them to be reproductions, and worthless. Again, I tried to work with the company to resolve this, and was screamed and yelled at for 5 minutes. Please let me know if you need any additional info. [redacted]
