I bought a table set from Walmart and Whalen Furniture was the business who made the tableThat was August 20thIt's now October 9th and I have yet to receive all of the parts I need to build the chairs that go with the tableI have talked to them about different timesSEVERAL TIMES my order for my parts were not even placed for no reason what so everI would wait over weeks for the parts to come in only to call and find out the order was never placedI finally told them I would just buy my own chairs because I was so frustratedDON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WAIT MONTHS TO GET PARTS YOU MAY NEED!!!!! This was the worst customer experience of my life and the customer service was not that great either!!!!!

I contacted the manufacturer by phone at *** on 7/3/when the chair leg on my dining room table snapped I provided all of my information and the model number I was told a replacement part would arrive in two weeks On 7/21/when the replacement part had not arrived, I called againI was told they could not locate my informationWe started all over again Same two weeks I called again on 8/11/when I still did not have the part Again, they could not locate my information We started all over again, this time I was told it would be weeks On December 17th I started all over again This time I sent an email I received a response from *** ***, Parts Manager She asked me to send her the information about the part once again This information was forwarded on 12/28/as I was away from home until then I sent a follow up email on 1/20/16, 1/27/trying to get an update No response On 2/1/called *** again and spoke with Lov

I bought a fireplace on ***.com that is sold by WhalenThis was in November The fireplace started smelling like the wires were getting hot by the end of march So I called their customer support and got a lady named *** ***She asked me to send her the copies of my receipt where I had purchased the productI sent them to her that day and she told me that she would be placing an order for me a new insertShe said that it would be sometime around June or July before I would receive itCome the end of July I had still not received the insertI sent her an email asking when It would be here and she requested my phone # to check on it and I have not heard back from herIt is now the end of August and she will not return my emails

I ordered Whalen's Combination Electric Fireplace/Heater on Dec.9, as a Christmas present for my husband who has cancer and gets very coldI used my bank debit card to pay for it The product arrived and the glass door for the fireplace section was shatteredI called and was hung up on several timesI e-mailed my complaint and received a message from *** *** on Jan31, 2018!! He asked me to take pictures of the damage and E-mail it back with other info which I didI provided ALL the info that was necessary to replace this shattered door but heard nothingFinally on March 5, I spoke to Mr*** who told me he did not receive everything he asked forNot True!! I provided all model numbers plus my information along with my bank card number which paid for it or it would not have been shipped to meHe saw the broken glassHow hard is it when you have all the necessary information to honor the sale by replacing one glass door?!

Purchased Whalen industrial racks from Costco Although I bought the racks at Costco in Boise Idaho, the racks on display DO NOT match the racks you get from Whalen in the box Quality is substantially less on the newer version Stainless double reinforced racks on the display model? Gone and replaced with junk steel that is painted, flimsy, and warped so bad they will not sit flat Powder coated high quality paint on display model? Gone and replaced with thin, crappy paint that chips and scratches easily rack support beams? Gone and replaced with only 3; coupled with less substantial racks= you guessed it, saggy racks with minimal weight Sadly, if you look closely at the Whalen website you will see that Their representation of the racks they are selling is also a picture of the OLD style rack! advertisement and sketchy business practice I am floored Costco is even associated with this company To top it off, my honest reviews and experiences of the product sold by Costco and manufactured by Whalen were deleted and/or not posted on either website If you want a quality rack that is superior in every way to Whalen and represents what whalen sold before downgrading their product, buy the gladiator storage racks On sale they are exactly the same price My review of Costco will be next

I ordered a dining room set from *** which is supplied by Whalen FurnitureI made this purchase in full using my credit cardI only received the table top, hardware, and instructionsI did not receive the pedestal which makes the table uselessI contacted *** and they said I would have to go through *** because Whalen is no longer supplying them with this tableI contacted Whalen, they said to call ***I called *** again, they directed me BACK to WhalenThen I was told the table is discontinued then I was told they could ship it within 8-weeksI still have not received the pedestal which is now going on approxmonthsPoor communication, bad customer service, advertising, lying

I purchased a Whalen Tv stand model number XLCD-at ***.com when it arrived I started putting it togetherI got to a point where one of the pieces was bent and I could not finish putting it togetherI had to wait and get a replacement part from Whalen which I did but the TV stand stood not even half put together and it sat in my living room that way for two days I needed that stand up and being used by the day after I received it but since the part was bent I had to waitMy wife was not happy at all While I was waiting for the part to come I was thinking about returning the TV stand back to ***I contacted *** and asked if I could return it fully assembled as I was not taking it apart and I didn't have the box anymore as it was damaged in shipmentI asked if they could send someone to pick it up all assembled any they said NO, and that they needed all the pieces in the box I finally received the part and put the rest of it togetherI didn't like the stability

Hello Revdex.com team,I am sorry I did not update the official complaint. I researched this issue with our Call Center on 4/16/- the day I received the complaint. We processed a refund check in the amount of $on April 16. Ms*** should have received this check by
now.In reviewing the case notes - we have room for improvement - too much runaround for sure. I have contacted this business numerous times with no success , I bought a dinning room table from one of their other people that sell for them in ohio , the store is *** in Austintown Ohio , but the problem is a defective table and all you get is put on hold , or they tell you they will get back with you, the last person I talked to that is is a girl names Sandra and said she would get back with me it has been weeks since I talk to her and have left many messages on their phone with no response This is no way to run a business they asked for pictures and I did it and they saw the problem The table is a yr warranty I bought Oct 9th please help

I ordered a Whalen TV stand with fireplace insert back in April , and when it arrived, there were several pieces damaged The sales order and packing slip stated to work directly with the manufacturer for any defects, etc I reached out to Whalen customer service to place an order for replacement parts I started this process back in April and every time I contact this company, the representative states the items are on back order and it will be 4-weeks before they receive it Once that time frame has been reached, I don't hear from them, and I follow up with them only to receive a similar comment that the item is on back order and will be available in 4-weeks I sent a follow up email to them in September, and once again, I was notified that it'll be another 4-weeks I didn't hear from any one once that time frame lapsed, so I contacted them on 11/and was told that the item won't be available until January At this point, I'm extremely frustrated with the enti

I purchased a Whalen Furniture entertainment center from an "unauthorized retailer"Upon opening the unit, I found it was missing a legI called the company and spoke with a representative regarding my caseThe representative had a bad attitude, BUT I thought we had resolved everything- Whalen was sending me a courtesy leg free of cost (great service)! I received the leg in due timeOf course, it was the wrong leg, even after the representative confirmed (based on the description of the leg I already had) that it was the leg I would needI called the company again and described the situation to a new repHe said that they would send the new leg out (says nothing about shipping, payment, etc.)Then, days later, I received a random phone call asking me for $to replace the leg, because the last representative was "helping the company" and "didn't understand the situation"Again, representatives with a bad attitude that spoke in circles about the "unauthorized retailer" and "being without obligation" blah blah blahI was absolutely ready to pay for a replacement part at the beginning of the situation, but after receiving absolutely horrible customer service from employees who aren't sure of how to speak to customers, I don't know that I ever want to deal with this company again

I have been on hold waiting to speak with a representative for hours on two separate phone calls today alone Would always get the same message when I am "Caller Number 0" of "I'm sorry we're currently experiencing system problems, please try again later" Each time at exactly at hours I have been waiting for nearly months for my issue to be resolved I have been sent two replacement parts and both have arrived damaged The packaging of the replacement parts did not show any damage, but the pieces inside were damaged and unusable I was told by a representative that the 2nd shipment should have been sent by air and the next attempt would be sent via air I received a shipment notification last night stating that the 3rd attempt would be sent via FedEx Ground again when it should be sent via air as stated by previous representatives It has been almost months without a usable desk It is clear that Whalen Furniture does not care about the customer and just want your money DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM WHALEN FURNITURE!

I purchased a combination electric fireplace heater on 11/27/from *** Within a weeks time I contacted the manufacturer like the pamphlets say because the unit was not blowing out heat I was sent a replacement blower and the unit stopped working altogtherI called Whalen back and asked to speak to a manager and was told one would call me back*** *** called me back instead and asked for pictures of the unit plugged up but not working I e-mailed this on 12/31/She also told me that a replacement unit was on back order and would take weeksI called back on 2/29/and was told that my unit would be shipped the week of 3/7/I called 3/9/and was told the unit was on backorder and wouldn't be shipped to Whalen until 3/27/This is very unprofessional I am unable to return the unit to the store and winter is over defeating the purpose of the purchase

This company is a total jokeI purchased a TV stand from Walmart in JanuaryAs I started putting it together I found multiple flaws in the original pieces… two of the front pieces were too long, several of the screw holes didn’t line up on adjoining pieces, and the front cabinet doors did not fit at all… after trying to take it back to Walmart and being told to contact the manufacturer for resolution, I finally got to experience the worst customer service I have even heard of
Firstly, I have had multiple issues with their customer service reps being rude and short with meThe only time one was actually considerate was when I told him I wanted to speak to his managerBut let me start from the first call
The first time I called, I was told that I had to take it back to Walmart or wait for a whole new pieceI explained I already tried to take it back to Walmart, and that I did not want to wait another 3+ weeks to get a whole new set with the same issuesOne of the next calls, I asked to speak to a manager, but the manager was conveniently out in a meeting; I was told she would be given my information and would call me backA couple days go by and I never heard anything back so I called again and I asked to speak to a manager, talked to a customer service rep named Lillian who first told me the manager was out in a meeting and then tried to pass herself off as being the manager, Patricia ValdezShe told me to send an email with my receipt and I will be compensated for the issues I was experiencing and that the parts I needed (the front doors) would not be available to send out until March
It’s April by this time, and I decide to call again, but this time I called the customer service line instead of the parts department and was finally connected with Patricia Valdez, who told me to send her yet another copy of my receipt and she will credit the piece back to my card
Yesterday, I received of doors for my piece of furniture, yes in July - months later… I literally have a piece of wood with some holes in it… was told that I am supposed to take the hardware from the old doors and use them on the new door… AND the piece STILL DOESN’T EVEN FIT PROPERLY (the holes don’t match up with where the hardware is supposed to go so that the door is on a hinge)To this day, I still have not been credited back for any of these frustrationsSo I called customer service again today at 4:(they close at 4:but this is the only time I have to call today)The man who answers the phone cut me off after trying to explain to him what happened; once I’m able to finish explaining that at this point my fiancé and I are just throwing the piece of crap away and just want our money refunded, give him the email address that I sent my receipt to twice, he tells me that he thinks Patricia Valdez is available right now and that he will connect me… ok… he connects me and all I get is the voicemail box… I leave a message expressing my huge frustration with the whole situationAt this point, it’s past 4:and I can’t call back to get in touch with anybody again
I can’t believe this company is even allowed to do business… whoever they get to cut their wood and place holes for the hardware can’t even get measurements right, they have the worst customer service reps, and poor managementAbsolutely the worst business that I have ever had to deal with
I'd give them negative stars if that was possible

I have called this company numerous times and each time it takes at least minutes before a representative comes on the callThe reps are rude and sarcastic,they do not notate the call nor call back as stated on the callI have called to receive hardware to a dining table I have purchasedThe customer service is very poorNow I have a dining set I cant put together because the company that manufacturers it is lacks professionalism
