The restaurant was paid $500 by check in January 2020 as a deposit for a rehearsal dinner for a June wedding that had to be cancelled due to COVID. There was no contract stating the deposit was not refundable. Our agreement was verbal. As soon as I knew the event would be cancelled, I called and spoke to the owner, C ***, who said I would be refunded. I have still not received a refund and have called three times and sent a letter as well on August 11th.

Please give Ms. Souse our sincerest apologies. This was a huge oversight on our end. Yes she did call back in Jan. and we agreed to the refund and the bookkeeper obviously never mailed the check. This was due to her breaking her back, I was doing our book Keeping as far as payroll and immediate day to day operations and my kitchen work and the day to day operations until she (the book keeper) returned, then Covid hit. She, the bookkeeper is literally processing and placing the check in todays afternoon mail. We are so very sorry we dropped the ball and she had to resort to Revdex.com and this has never happened in our history and we feel absolutely horrible.
