Complaint[redacted]2014 [redacted]- Side Airbags deployed after hitting a bump on a gravel road on May.08/16 Airbag hit me in the head and my 5 year old in the back seat. Truck taken to [redacted] may.9/16 and towed to Wheaton. I had just picked up my truck on May. 4/16. [redacted] has confirmed that it is due to mechanical failure Apr. 9/16 booked vehicle for repair of minor dent. Asked to also have warranty work done while vehicle was in (throttle response, drivers seat,drivers door speaker, wind noise). Also asked for pass anger seat to be removed for carpet cleaning.Truck went in on Apr.20/16. May. 4/16 called to pick up truck.Warranty works was not completed. Passenger seat was removed on the 26 or 27. I saw there was issues with frame rust. [redacted] said it would be dealt with; it was not. Talked to [redacted] about it; he said there are some issues; he took pictures and said they would get it in to be recoated at the end of June.Desired SettlementVehicle repaired and warranty work completed. Loaner veichle Business Response [redacted]. I had an opportunity to speak to Ms. [redacted] yesterday June 7th and listen to her issue at hand. [redacted]. I explained to Ms. [redacted] that based on the Data recorded on the vehicles Crash Analysis Recorder this should be an Insurance matter as opposed to a warranty claim. Ms. [redacted] had also received the information from the Crash Analysis Recorder that was retrieved which she states is not accurate. Unfortunately there is a large variance in Ms. [redacted]'s crash report given to [redacted] vs the Crash Analysis Data that was retrieved from the vehicle. This may have been part of the reason Insurance was denied. Ms. [redacted] mentioned that she was also waiting for response from representatives at [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] stated she was waiting for a call and wanted to talk to them first and she would call me if there was anything else she needed. I explained that we would be happy to repair the vehicle, and want to do what we can to help out, but we need someone to agree to pay before we proceed.
