This is response to the complaint that *** *** submitted
34, 34); margin: 0px">The wheels were purchased on July 13th of On Sept 4th when he noticed the chrome was peeling on wheels we got a order for replacementsThe wheels were delivered on Sept 8th and we had them back to us and credited by Sept 15thSo I’m not sure where he waited a month to have the wheels replacedIn December he emailed a info email that does not link to my warehouse so we never got it here
He then called and spoke to ***, *** asked him to send picturesOn January 22nd he emailed pictures to *** did explain to him that regular maintenance needs to be done on a regular basis when you purchase chrome wheels*** told *** that he was selling his truck and wanted new wheels on it before he sold it
I spoke to *** on February 10th which was less than and a half weeks later after he sent the pictures and had been dealing with ***I explained the same thing to *** that you need to maintain your wheels in order for them to fall under the limited warrantyI told him several times that I would forward his email to another department to get a second opinion and he did not seem to understand what I was sayingAfter minutes on the phone going in circles with *** and after telling him times that I would forward on the pictures and that our phone call was going nowhere he hung up on me
We would like to take these wheels off of his vehicleWe will not be replacing themWe will credit back Continental Tire where he purchased them and he will need to get his money back from Continental
I have attached the invoice from original purchase showing purchase date and also a copy of the wheels that were replaced also showing the order date and invoice date showing that the replacements were sent out for delivery days after they were orderedI have also attached the page from the warranty card that is in every wheel that we sell that states what the limited warranty is

Review: Well I purchased some wheels from Continental tires in July 2015 which is located here in town where I live and after a month after getting installed the chrome finish on 2 of the wheels stated peeling off so I went back to tire shop to see if covered under warranty they then replaced replaced wheels after a month of waiting after that was still not happy chrome finish was not the greatest for what I payed for the wheels. So in December I started to notice wheels were getting a rust of orange look to them so I called the company I bought them at and kinda got the run around till finally owner of company told me to contact manufactur of the wheel so I did first I tried emailing them got no response so I emailed again this time they responded saying to go back to the store where I purchased the wheels so I did that yet again the owner of Continental wheels then told me again to contact the manufactur of the wheel this time he gave me their address and phone number so now I have contacted with manufactur I spoke to a man named Joseph and I explained to him what was happening to my wheels and then told me to send pictures of my wheels so I did. So I waited never got a response back so I called again and spoke to Joseph he then told me he sent pictures to corporate and he hadn't got a response back so I then called once a week and spoke to Joseph every time till finally he said that it was up to his manager Tiffany so now a month later now I'm trying to contact Tiffany I finally speak to her and she tells me right away tells me that she seen the picture of wheels and it's my fault that is happening for not cleaning wheels I explained that the truck wheels are on I keep in storage and truck is always washed and cleaned I also told here that I've only had wheels for 4 months and this should not be happening to 4 month old wheels she then was just blaming me for the condition of the wheels and said she could do nothing for meDesired Settlement: I would like my money back I don't think I should get stuck with a probuct that I will have to worry about getting messed up and having to worry about warranty issues and go threw all this again

On Sept 4th when he noticed the chrome was peeling on 2 wheels we got a order for 2 replacements. The wheels were delivered on Sept 8th and we had them back to us and credited by Sept 15th. So I’m not sure where he waited a month to have the wheels replaced. In December he emailed a info email that does not link to my warehouse so we never got it here. He then called and spoke to [redacted] asked him to send pictures. On January 22nd he emailed pictures to [redacted] did explain to him that regular maintenance needs to be done on a regular basis when you purchase chrome wheels. [redacted] told [redacted] that he was selling his truck and wanted new wheels on it before he sold it. I spoke to [redacted] on February 10th which was less than 2 and a half weeks later after he sent the pictures and had been dealing with [redacted]. After 15 minutes on the phone going in circles with [redacted] and after telling him 4 times that I would forward on the pictures and that our phone call was going nowhere he hung up on me. We would like to take these wheels off of his vehicle. We will not be replacing them. We will credit back Continental Tire where he purchased them and he will need to get his money back from Continental.
