Revdex.com:
The date was actually for the beginning of november, not october, but within the letter of complaint it is said that a month went by and that was true.  Invacare did pay for the parts like promised and shipped them to the wheelchair shop.  Invacare said they would pay for the servicing also, but the wheelchair  shop said they would take care of that.  As far as evaluating  the wheelchair  they did do that and they also provided me a letter stating they cancelled the the request for a new wheelchair which proves they were looking into that!  They also told me to take my business elsewhere in the future.  My son went without his independence for over a month and people at this company did not seem to know what each other were doing.  Even though our problem was resolved in the end, the company was disrepectful to my husband in demanding an apology when it was their mistake in internal miscommunication! I now consider the matter closed.Sicerely,[redacted]
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.

Sent: Monday, December 29, 2014 11:20 AM To: drteam Subject: Ref [redacted]   I am writing in response to a complain submitted on 12-9-2014 assigned ID [redacted]   We would like to clarify that our firm did not sell or previously service the wheelchair referenced in this complaint regarding a...

problem that occurred on October 7, 2014. We also did not assess the product for repair; that was apparently done by another vendor prior to the customer contacting our firm on October 24, 2014.  Our firm got involved only to try to help the customer out.  We made numerous phone calls to the manufacturer over a period of several weeks on their behalf trying to get a status on the parts needed to make the repair.  The motors arrived to us on December 12, 2014; we installed the motors onto the wheelchair later that day at no cost to the customer.   [redacted]   [redacted]
