Dear Sir: I received a copy of the letter sent to [redacted] of Wheeler Wellness Center by your company regarding a complaint made for services rendered by Wheeler Wellness Center LLC in October As I was the owner of the Center at that time, I thought it appropriate that I respond On December 31, I retired and Wheeler Wellness Center LLC closed It was purchased by [redacted] and while keeping the same signage, is incorporated under a different name and I have no ownership or direct involvement The patient who sent you the complaint did in fact receive care for laser hair reduction at my facility She purchased a 6-treatment package, with a 25% discount for paying for all treatments up front She received treatments and offered no complaints to us Unfortunately, in planning my retirement, I had to sell the laser and therefore the new owners could not provide further treatment Both the aesthetician ( [redacted] ***) and I met with the patient and explained this situation She decided she would complete the treatments with Dr [redacted] I arranged for Dr [redacted] ’s office to perform the remaining treatments at no cost to the patient I agreed that if any charges for treatment at Dr [redacted] ’s office were incurred, I would pay for them I agree there was confusion and delay in getting her lined up with the new office, but eventually she did see Dr [redacted] ’s staff In fact, she received treatments for laser hair removal and was never charged for it So in reality she had treatments between the two offices and only paid for I must say this complaint was a complete surprise to me I never heard of any concerns from her once we finally got things lined up with Dr [redacted] ’s office I talked with Dr [redacted] and he was unaware of any issues as well I must say that the patient was not compliant with having her treatments at regular internals This in fact does negatively impact outcomes for laser hair removal as timing is scheduled to maximize hair follicle death This was an issue with her compliance and not a scheduling problem from the medical offices To conclude this report, this patient paid a discounted price for laser treatments and received a total of with no further charge No provider doing this procedure promises 100% hair removal – it is hair reduction To maximize results, the treatments need to be done consistently every 5-weeks for treatments to maximize hair follicle destruction The patient was not compliant with this schedule I am told That non-compliance greatly reduces overall results So why I am never happy when a patient is unsatisfied with their treatment, I do not feel she received less care than she paid for It was unfortunate that her treatments were disrupted by having to change offices due to my retirement Patients get very comfortable with the technician doing their treatment and having to change caregivers undoubtedly contributed to her unhappiness at this time I have no solution to her concerns at this point but certainly do not feel any refund is indicated given that she got 33% more treatments than she paid for [redacted] * [redacted] , MD, FACS

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolutionPlease respond here ONLY] Regards, I have no complaints with my first two treatments, I was treated me in the same mild resultsIt wasn't until I got the phone call that I was being sent to another office that the issues started; The reason Dr [redacted] met with me was because I had to come to the Wellness Center to complain that my phone calls were not being returned that was also the not the only time I had to go to the Wellness Center to make a complaint about being ignored by Dr [redacted] 's office.I asked for a refund multiple time, I even sent a Facebook message asking for a refund and was never given the option to have itI was told on my first visit to Dr [redacted] office that I would need additional treatment because they use a different type of laser, I was never told when being sent there how different the lasers wereI don't see how this could possibly be a surprise, I called after my first appointment with Dr [redacted] to make a complaint with Dr [redacted] , to which Dr [redacted] call me back on his personal cell phone to tell me he'd cover the extra treatments, I also had to go back to the Wellness Center to make a complaint because my calls weren't being returned for a second time, I was given hugs by the staff as a apologised for what an awful experience I was having and offered me a free facial. The bottom line is this: I paid for treatment to be done by Dr [redacted] 's office, I paid for certain body parts to be treated, I paid for the type of laser that his office was using, and what I got was TREATMENT not fully done in his office, not full treatment of body parts I paid for, and a different type of laser from what I paid for, a laser thats main function was for scar removal not hair removal (I was later told), it was so painful it was almost unbearableI was told by the staff that I would never have to shave again, and I still shave everyday, it wasn't until the consult with Dr [redacted] after treatments that this was hair "reduction" not removalAs for results being due to consistency I never missed an appointment and the only change I made to the schedule was that I had to come in on Friday instead of Wednesday because I had a work schedule change, so by Dr [redacted] 's own admission results have to do with consistency in the treatment, so what he's saying is the impact of me needing a Friday appointment instead of a Wednesday had more effect on my treatments then the months of runarounds him and Dr [redacted] 's office gave me where I wasn't getting consistent treatments!? The only thing I can compare it to is if Dr [redacted] went to the doctor and paid to have his gallbladder removed with a DaVinci robot and was promised minimal scarring, but when he woke up found out that they hadn't used the robot and did it the old fashion way and the results were different and he didn't end up with what he paid for; Yes I received treatments but they weren't what I paid for and the results weren't what I was promised, no one in their right mind would pay to just have a little less hair.I've now had to spend another $5,000to redo something I've already paid for and on top of that I had a horrible experience, I really do believe this situation is deserving of a refund [redacted]

respond.  On December 31, 2014 I retired and Wheeler Wellness Center LLC closed.  It was purchased by [redacted] and while keeping the same signage, is incorporated under a different name and I have no ownership or direct involvement.   The patient who sent you the complaint did in fact receive care for laser hair reduction at my facility.  She purchased a 6-treatment package, with a 25% discount for paying for all treatments up front.  She received 2 treatments and offered no complaints to us.  Unfortunately, in planning my retirement, I had to sell the laser and therefore the new owners could not provide further treatment.  Both the aesthetician ([redacted]) and I met with the patient and explained this situation.  She decided she would complete the treatments with Dr. [redacted].   I arranged for Dr. [redacted]’s office to perform the remaining 4 treatments at no cost to the patient.  I agreed that if any charges for treatment at Dr. [redacted]’s office were incurred, I would pay for them.  I agree there was confusion and delay in getting her lined up with the new office, but eventually she did see Dr. [redacted]’s staff.  In fact, she received 6 treatments for laser hair removal and was never charged for it.  So in reality she had 8 treatments between the two offices and only paid for 6.    I must say this complaint was a complete surprise to me.  I never heard of any concerns from her once we finally got things lined up with Dr. [redacted]’s office.  I talked with Dr. [redacted] and he was unaware of any issues as well.  I must say that the patient was not compliant with having her treatments at regular internals.  This in fact does negatively impact outcomes for laser hair removal as timing is scheduled to maximize hair follicle death.  This was an issue with her compliance and not a scheduling problem from the medical offices.    To conclude this report, this patient paid a discounted price for 6 laser treatments and received a total of 8 with no further charge.  No provider doing this procedure promises 100% hair removal – it is hair reduction.  To maximize results, the treatments need to be done consistently every 5-7 weeks for 6 treatments to maximize hair follicle destruction.  The patient was not compliant with this schedule I am told.  That non-compliance greatly reduces overall results.  So why I am never happy when a patient is unsatisfied with their treatment, I do not feel she received less care than she paid for.  It was unfortunate that her treatments were disrupted by having to change offices due to my retirement.  Patients get very comfortable with the technician doing their treatment and having to change caregivers undoubtedly contributed to her unhappiness at this time.  I have no solution to her concerns at this point but certainly do not feel any refund is indicated given that she got 33% more treatments than she paid for.    [redacted], MD, FACS

Regards, I have no complaints with my first two treatments, I was treated me in the same mild results. It wasn't until I got the phone call that I was being sent to another office that the issues started; The reason Dr. [redacted] met with me was because I had to come to the Wellness Center to complain that my phone calls were not being returned that was also the not the only time I had to go to the Wellness Center to make a complaint about being ignored by Dr. [redacted]'s office.I asked for a refund multiple time, I even sent a Facebook message asking for a refund and was never given the option to have it. I was told on my first visit to Dr [redacted]office that I would need additional treatment because they use a different type of laser, I was never told when being sent there how different the lasers were. I don't see how this could possibly be a surprise, I called after my first appointment with Dr [redacted] to make a complaint with Dr. [redacted], to which Dr [redacted] call me back on his personal cell phone to tell me he'd cover the extra treatments, I also had to go back to the Wellness Center to make a complaint because my calls weren't being returned for a second time, I was given hugs by the staff as a apologised for what an awful experience I was having and offered me a free facial. The bottom line is this: I paid for treatment to be done by Dr. [redacted]'s office, I paid for certain body parts to be treated, I paid for the type of laser that his office was using, and what I got was TREATMENT not fully done in his office, not full treatment of body parts I paid for, and a different type of laser from what I paid for, a laser thats main function was for scar removal not hair removal (I was later told), it was so painful it was almost unbearable.
