It is unfortunate that the flood occurred in complainants' apartmentWe failed to check the apartment below when the ticket was made to address a malfunctioning washer in the apartment above. However, once the flood was recognized the proper protocol was followed; this includes placing a
dehumidifier into the apartment until the drywall is dryApproximately 48-hours is the estimated time to dry completely. Once the damaged section is dry it can be cut and repaired. Therefore repairs could not be completed before Monday. Photos were provided at the time of the incident of the entire space affectedThe apartment was not deemed uninhabitable by maintenance personnel or in the opinion of the leasing office staff, however it was restored to original condition

I am rejecting this response because:
This response does nothing to address the fact that charging double rent is illegal in Virginia If I am to accept their (purely fictional) version of events stating that no notice was given prior to move-out, paragraph of the attached lease agreement does not applyParagraph instead applies, which states that I am liable for a reletting charge of $per month until the apartment is rentedThe leasing office staff has demonstrated a consistent failure to understand the terms of their own lease agreement.By their own admission, it has been rented on August 1st, yet they are attempting to bill me for the entire month of August and part of SeptemberI suspect the August 1st date is also because my apartment was removed from the list of available apartments on their website on or before July 12th, and their policy is to not hold apartments that are available immediately for more than days (which was explained to me upon move-in, and can be easily verified on their website)

*** *** called yesterday and spoke with my assistant manager Loretta L***. He was very abrupt and called her "woman". She tried to review charges with him and even offered to send photos that were taken once the apartment was turned over.
Several photos were sent to him showing areas that were not cleaned and several areas of the carpet that shows stains all the way through. The apartment will/ has been renovated but not ALL items are replaced. If carpet is in good condition, it is not replaced in all units. The attached photos show several areas that need to be cleaned, stains in the carpet (including bleach stains) that cannot be removed. Attached is also his move out statement, move in/ move out checklist showing all items marked "good" when moving in (no stains noted). If he has photos or other documentation showing that his carpet had stains, we would be willing to remove these chargesWe would be willing to split the cleaning charges in half (removing $65) and taking the painting charges off ($75). Since the carpet charge is pro-rated, based on the age of the carpet and the fact that the photos show the carpet needs to be replaced, we ask that those charges still be paid. Therefore, updating the charges would reduce the overall charges by $140. There is currently $showing as an outstanding balance. Therefore, $would be still owed. If he is willing to accept that, we would be willing to take the above charges off immediately and send an updated move out statement.

Thank you for your help to submit the complaint to the management of Wheel House in Fair Oaks, Fairfax,VA.
My husband also came by the office on August 4th to tell the staff of the bees problem and the smell and sound in apartment after he left work to home.
They sent a technician to our apartment yesterday on August 5th to check for the status. As I told him about the bees and he said there are a lot of bees flying around everywhere. And I lead him to the patio and stand for a minute to look at the bushes next to my apartment. 
He realized that may be a nest over there. Because the big number of bees are continuous to fly in and out the bushes endlessly. I told him the bees flied into my apartment a few weeks ago. Because of the threatening of the bees, I stepped on my dog's paw and she was hurt and limping for two day while I was taking her out for a walk o August 4th.
The noise and smell they still need to follow up and I just want to say thank you and because of you and your company's help that solve at least the major problem of the bees that I am worry with.
Once again, thank you and just want to let you know that status now.
