Wheels and Deals Auto Sales and Service

Down payment accepted on vehicle. Will not return calls to complete sale or return down payment. On [redacted] I met with [redacted] a representative of Wheels & Deals to view and test drive a 2005 Hyundai Tuscon. After discussing price with Matt, we agreed that a safety inspection should take place at [redacted] in [redacted] on April 1st. [redacted] asked me for a [redacted] down payment on the vehicle to ensure good faith. This was provided via check [redacted] from my personal account with [redacted] provided me with a receipt (#XXXXXX). On [redacted] 1st the [redacted] was inspected by [redacted] and it was discovered that there were many mechanical issues with the vehicle. On [redacted] Wheels & Deals) contacted me to discuss price and the repairs needed. [redacted] assured me that he would repair everything on the vehicle that was identified in the safety inspection performed on the 1st and would contact me when the work was finalized. He emailed me later that day stating that he "did everything on the list" and that the vehicle was ready for purchase. Because the vehicle required four new tires, we asked for it to be delivered to [redacted] in [redacted] For three days both [redacted] and [redacted] were unreachable and refused to deliver the vehicle.
