Mr*** came to us on 09/09/with a request for rim refinish and was priced at $per wheelWe show no record of any additional charges reflecting his comments of additional costs imposedUpon arriving in October Mr*** was advised that his rim had fresh cracks in it and was
priced accordingly for the repairUpon failed attempts over multiple return visits we advised Mr*** there would be no charge for the attempted welds as well as the refinishing that took place again due to tire and tool abrasion removing and installing the tire with the multiple weld attemptsI have attached a pdf record of Mr***s job details to reflect accordingly.Upon confirming that the rim could not be repaired Mr*** was advised to replace the rimWe did not cause the original cracks and therefore should not be held responsible for a failed repair attempt resulting in rim replacement that would be required should it be irreparable.Thank youJohn D***General Manager614-251-9600Please call to confirm receipt of attachments

We appreciate the opportunity to try to address this again. It is our position that we refaced three rims for Mr. [redacted]. Refacing is re-etching the metal to give it a fresh machine look. Because his paint wasn't damaged, we were able to give him a discount on the refacing from our usual $125 per tire to a discounted rate of $105 per tire. We want to be perfectly clear. Mr. [redacted] had three cracks in one rim. Not three rims with one crack each. You can see this is the case, when you review the email Kelley provided to Mr. [redacted]. Our original offer was to give him credit of $105 towards the purchase of a new rim from our shop. We did not hear back from him until after he had the rim replaced by a third party. We will not reimburse him for a rim that he purchased from a third party. We did not cause the cracks, we attempted to repair the cracks. As a gesture of customer courtesy and a means of resolving the dispute, we are more than willing to offer him a refund of $105. This is the cost of the service we performed on the wheel that had three cracks.

Sorry about the deadline yesterday, but if possible, just have the company mail me or I can pick up the refund check.
