Whip Clean - The Car Wash

February 01,2018To Whom It May Concern,The customer who filed the complaint did visit our facility and receive our $Ultimate Full Service wash on 1/27/After the work was completed, he got in his vehicle, drove passed our disclaimer sign which states “Please inspect your vehicle before
leavingWhip Clean will not accept responsibility for claims of damage or missing items once a vehicle has left our property”, and leftHe called afterwards to say that we didn’t do a good job vacuuming and that our vacuums damaged his driver-side front floor matEven though we are not responsible for any claims of damage once a vehicle leaves our property, I told the customer that he could bring it back for me to look at the alleged damage and re-clean anything that he thought wasn’t done well while he was hereHe returned shortly after and showed me the damaged mat, some water drip marks under the side mirror, and some spots that he said weren’t vacuumed wellI apologized that he wasn’t satisfied with the cleaning and offered to redo it for him which he declinedAfter looking at the alleged damage to the mat, I saw that the worn spot and hole were precisely where his heel rests while driving and switching between the gas and the brakeI explained to the customer that it is a wear spot and explained how it happenedI also informed him that our vacuums do not have anywhere near enough suction power to suck a hole through the matI offered to allow him to see our vacuums so that he would know that it wasn’t physically possible for the vacuums to generate enough power to suck a hole through his matIn addition to vacuuming tens of thousands of vehicles without any vacuum related issues, we also have the same vacuum system available for our customers to use if they wanted to vacuum their car themselvesNone of them have reported any issues caused by our vacuum systemWhen a customer returns with an issue, regardless of liability, we always thoroughly investigate the issue to make certain that it wasn’t caused by any negligence on our behalfAfter seeing his mat and the location of the worn area and hole, there is only one cause and that is his heel created the wear spot which led to a hole in his matWhile we would love to continue to have him as a customer, we simply cannot pay for damage that was caused by the customer and not by our employees or equipmentWe hope this resolves the issuePlease feel free to contact us again if you have any questionsThanks!Sincerely,Whip Clean
