Whirlpool Washer model WTW 816 FW3 has a major issue with the control board. Consumers have written major complaints on-line with the same issue that I am having regarding the extended time we are waiting to receive the part needed to repair the machine. Whirlpool has no resolution to the 4 to 6 week wait time, but they are happy to let you know it is covered under warranty since it is a major defect with this model.
