The customer contacted our company requesting an emergency service call due to a water leakWe quickly scheduled her ahead of other customers due to the nature of her requestThe working conditions, which required crawling through a small window, to access the underneath of her modular home most
certainly did increase the time needed to complete the repairAccessing and working in this area requires crawling on your stomach or lying on your back to perform repairsThe customer did not request an estimate and at the time was only interested in having the repair completedAdditionally she requested that we return a second day and wrap the water lines with heat tape and install a water valveA plumbers helper was assigned to assist in facilitating the process of bringing parts to the plumber, as it is very difficult to crawl on the ground, in and out of the window on your stomach repeatedlyWe spoke to the customer and asked what we could do to make her a happy customerIt is our custom to resolve all complaints in a positive mannerAdditionally we offered to refund a portion of the invoice for the sake of her satisfactionThe customer refused to accept a partial refund and said it was ok and she would chalk it up to a learning experienceIt is probable for us to assume that the customer was not satisfied with her choice and chose to file this complaintThe charges were usual and customary for two trips to the location, the working conditions under her mobile home, and for parts needed to stop the water leak, replace the valve and wrap the water lines with heat tapeWe are however, willing to refund the customer $for the sake of good will and customer satisfactionWe will contact the customer in order to facilitate the refund
