When traveling for a funeral I left my cell phone charger at the hotel. I contacted the hotel several times to retrieve my item.When traveling for a funeral I left my cell phone charger at the hotel. After being tolf on one instance that my charger was found in the room, by an employee who is believed to be named [redacted] I contacted the hotel again after contacting UPS for pick-up upon [redacted] suggestion. When I called the hotel again about pick-up I was informed that my charger could no longer be located, only after a cousin went to pick the charger up. I was then informed that a house-keeping manager [redacted] would return my call. A week later on 9.27.13 I was informed by [redacted] that [redacted] was no longer an employee of the hotel & the new manager would return my call. However, I did not receive a call. On 10.1.13 I called the hotel again & spoke with [redacted] who stated that [redacted] was the house keeping manager & [redacted] was the assistant & one of them will return my call. Shortly, afterwards I received a call from [redacted] who stated that a white IPhone charger was located. I informed her just as I did the other employees that my charger was a white Samsung charger & that I was informed on my initial call that it was found in my room after giving the employee my room # of [redacted] then stated that the manager would call me back. Well it is 6 days later on 10.7.13 & I have yet to hear from anyone at the hotel. The hotel has unprofessional staff. There was an issue with the staff while on the trip as well that I unfortunately did not address. However, I hope that my family will not have to use this particular hotel again. Desired SettlementI am seeking $40 which is the cost of my Samsung cell phone charger through Samsung.
