Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because the White Glove moving company is not truthful and will deceive customers by providing unprofessional servicesThe Elliptical machine was on ALL the inventory lists leading up to the day of the moveThe day of the move was such a disaster as white glove moving failed to properly estimate the amount of boxes that it was beyond chaoticI spent more time trying to fix all the issues caused by White Glove's incompetance that I never realized they did NOT do a final walk through with me in which we would of realized the elliptical was still thereMy stuff was held for almost two weeks in Bayonne, NJ which was about minutes away and they said they could not come pick up the ellipticalOnly when I was in Florida did they say that they didn't charge me for it so I could not make a claimIf it was on every inventory list leading up to the move than why was it not moved?? I spoke to the claims department and made a claim with ***I was told I would only get $on the pound for coverageNow this "coverage" was something they steamroll you with when they come to your house the day of the move with pages to sign, initial, date, etcSo the $custom glass vase they packed with metal and other hard objects was broken and according to their "Claim coverage" would only be worth about $So after an hour of back and forth my claim was denied The biggest problem (Among all the others) is that they sell you "Professional" packing and moving services yet they hire people off CRAIGS LIST to pack and move for them! This is why I had a lot of damage to my new home from the "Unprofessional" movers who scratched tables, walls, stairs, etc since they were hired the day beforeThis is why they packed glass objects with metal objects....this is why they packed fragile items with shoes and frames....totally mind bogglingBut if you search this company you will find all the negative issues customers had with them in the past and they are almost all for the same reasonsVery sad that this company is allowed to operate in such a manner and scam unsuspecting customers like this and hold them hostage since they have their "stuff" No one ever called me and no one ever emailed meOnce again they make statementsA claim was made with them and it was deniedMoving should be a fun and exciting experience but this was the worst experience I have ever had with movingIt was so bad that when I contacted local newspapers and stations that they were floored with what White Glove Moving did and how they operatedThe public needs to be made aware of this company Regards, [redacted] ***

We have reviewed the Consumer complaint filed by [redacted] against White Glove Moving & Storage, regarding overcharge & premises damage at pi& delivery locationsAt this time we have reviewed her complaint along with her pre-move estimate, final moving paperwork, and our claim records We have confirmed that Consumer hired the Business to perform a Local move within New Jersey, performed on 1/23/Prior to the move, Consumer obtained an estimate based solely on her representation of the size/scope of services neededThe move was confirmed as a local hourly move, at a rate of $140/hour for men for hours, plus travel fee, fuel charge, and estimated packing materials in the total sum of $The estimate clearly states “The total cost for your move will be based on the actual time it takes to perform your moveTime is calculated in minute intervals above the minimum rate” and “The Estimated Time for your move is calculated based on the inventory of items and/or any other particulars provided by you, the shipper”The move was estimated at approximately cf of goods, yet the customer ended up using the entire truck (truck holds 1500-cf) even with some items not moved per her requestAs such, it was evident that customer had more items than she had previously specified, & therefore the move took longer than expected (hours) & she was charged for actual time worked in the total sum of $– an increase of approximately 12%As such, no overcharge occurredRegarding alleged damages to the homes at pi& delivery locations, no written claim has been filed by customer to date, more than two months after her move, as is required under the Terms of the Bill of Lading & Transportation Regulations governing her moveFurther, no notation of any damage or overcharge issues was made by customer in writing on the Bill of Lading upon completion of the move, and she signed the Delivery Acknowledgement on this Form, confirming “The above services were rendered and all goods delivered in good order” without any exceptions noted We did speak with the customer after her move, but she was highly abusive, cursing, screaming, & we were unable to even assist her with information on filing a claimFurther, we have confirmed that customer signed a Premises Waiver for her move (see copy attached), which clearly states “I/We hereby knowingly accept all responsibility for any and all damages that may occur to existing property including but not limited to walls, banisters, stairs, doorways, doors, ceilings, fans, fixtures, all floor coverings including but not limited to rugs, linoleum, wooden floors, marble, tile, elevator, light fixtures, etcI/We hereby waive any and all claims against the Carrier for damages that may occur to our piand/or delivery premises”As such, customer waived her right to any claims for damages to her carpet, wood floors and walls at both piand delivery locations Therefore, at this time we must advise that no compensation is due Ms [redacted] We respectfully reques that this case be Administratively ResolvedThank you

We have reviewed the recent rebuttal filed by [redacted] , relative to her ongoing complaint against White Glove Moving & Storage We must reiterate that our prior response was correct and stands, and no monies are due Consumer for the reasons specified thereinNevertheless, strictly for customer service, White Glove will offer $total for all claims/complaints as a good will gestureShould Ms [redacted] wish to accept this offer, she should confirm her acceptance through the Revdex.com no later than 4/20/14, for the offer to be validWe will then send her settlement documents at that time, to execute so that payment of this amount may be issued thereafter Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Absolutely untrue statement by White Glove MovingWe had much less items as estimatedIt shows their incompetence in providing a fair estimate, service and resolutionOne of sales RepI spoke before the move, knew about that we were closing on the purchase and sale the same day of the moveHe assured me that the movers will know how to make the move go smoothlyWe had a very stressful & exhausting day and they didn't give me the time to read the documents they presented to me on the spotThey even didn't explain it to meThey just told me that I needed to sign themI called them and emailed them many times about this issue as attachedThey have my complaint in writingThe person I spoke to on the phone was rude and sarcastic and tried to change the subject with questions that had nothing to do with my complaint and wouldn't let me speakYes, I got frustrated and responded back loudly with a sarcastic question of my own, but never cursedShe gave me a hard time and no help with my claim For that reason, I want to be compensated for the damaged floorsI also want consumers to be aware that White Glove Moving estimates are bogus just to lure you in and then rip you off and they are NOT a white glove moving service Regards, [redacted]

We have reviewed the Consumer complaint filed by [redacted] (aka [redacted] ***) regarding overcharge, service issues, & damaged items/premisesWe have also reviewed the moving paperwork and our claim records relative to this matter. We have confirmed that Consumer hired the Business to perform a Long Distance move from New Jersey to Florida, commencing on 8/10/Delivery was completed on 9/1/in Florida & at that time Consumer signed all documents confirming shipment was received in good condition, without any exceptionsHe signed the Bill of Lading Delivery Acknowledgement confirming “Shipment was received in apparent good condition and services ordered were performed”, & Inventory Lists without any notation of loss/damageFollowing pick-up, over weeks later on 8/25/Consumer contacted our office to advise that his elliptical exercise machine wasn’t moved from the pilocationWe explained that this item was not on the final estimate he had received & that his move was based upon & he had signed the Inventory List at piconfirming that all items were loadedAs the shipment was leaving to Florida right away, there was no way to add the additional item to the load already picked up & Consumer was advised of thisFurther, at piConsumer had significantly more items/volume than were on his estimate, for a total overage of $However, he was only charged a nominal fee of $ for the overage by White Glove, strictly for good willWe advised Consumer that the elliptical was not on his final estimate, not on the Inventory List signed by him at pick-up, & he was not charged for it, therefore he wasn’t entitled to any reimbursement for that item/issueOn 9/4/after delivery, Consumer called us to file a claim for damaged itemsHe was not yet unpacked, so he was advised to complete unpacking/inspecting his shipment & call back to file claimWe did not hear from him, so we contacted him after that & left a voice mail asking him to call back to file his claim, but never heard from him again until receiving a notice of credit card chargeback dated 10/5/To date, over months after delivery Consumer still has not filed any written legal claim as required by the Terms of the Bill of Lading & Interstate Transportation Regulations governing his move, in order for compensation to be considered under the $.60/lb/article coverage chosen by him for his moveFurther, as he has filed two credit card chargebacks for his entire move cost, at this time his move is not paid forIf he wishes to file a claim, he should contact us with his moving documents & list of items in hand well before time frame specified on the Terms of his Bill of Lading expires, so that we may intake claim from him & send him claim documentsAT THIS TIME WE RESPECTFULLY REQUEST THAT THIS CASE BE CLOSED AS BEYOND PURVIEW AS CONSUMER FILED A CREDIT CARD CHARGEBACK PRIOR TO FILING THIS COMPLAINT WITH THE Revdex.comThank you, MLombardi, Director, CPC

We were so nervous about having a moving company move our household from Florida to Pennsylvania but White Glove Moving was so helpful and wonderful, it really decreased our stress! We worked with [redacted] at the office to get everything set up, and he was very helpful and responded quickly to our questions via phone and email [redacted] and [redacted] were the crew and they handled our belongings with care, were friendly and professional, and did a great job accounting for every itemThey were considerate of the other residents in the building we moved into, and would make way for folks to pass by and use the elevatorWe added in an additional stop at a storage facility which wasn't too much extraThey were very cautious and quickThey were clear regarding pick up and drop off times, and let us know the day before the exact time window (a hour window) they would be at our placeHaving the price set beforehand was very helpful and decreased our stress of having a last minute price increaseWe were very impressed by the quality of this company!
