bearing wall, we were limited to what we could do. I removed approximately 225 square feet of laminate flooring and trim and stored it in the garage. I did this to ensure that these materials would not get damaged when I removed the wall. It was my intent to reuse these materials to seam the two floors together., once the wall was removed. I removed approximately 96 square feet of drywall. Once the drywall was removed, I discovered that there were sewer lines, water lines and heating and air conditioning duct work that had to be relocated in order to complete the project. Until the drywall was removed. 1 was unaware that this was even an issue. I explained the situation to the [redacted]'s and stated that this was going to be additional labor and material cost, but the project could still be done. They decided that the additional cost was not in the budget and the wall would have to stay. I replaced and repaired both rooms to their original condition In addition to repairing the rooms, I custom built and installed shelving units in the garage and installed wire racking units in the master bedroom closet. I also repaired some vinyl flooring in the bathroom. These projects and material cost are listed on the attached invoice.Per the request of the [redacted]'s, and their desired settlement and resolution to this matter, I have itemized the labor, materials and work completed at their residence and subtracted it from the down payment received. Additionally, I had a 32', fiberglass, extension ladder that I had left on the premises. I went to recover my ladder, but found that it had been moved and I was unable to retrieve it. The cost to replace this ladder has been added to the invoice. I have issued a check to the [redacted]'s in the amount of $928.21, and have provided you a copy (enclosure 2). Along with the invoice and check, I sent the [redacted]'s garage door remote. In closing, I have addressed and complied with the [redacted]'s grievances and consider this matter closed.
