I am sorry for the tardiness of this responseI did not obtain the mail and thus this letter until 11/14/I followed up with a phone call to you on 11/16/at approximately 12:PM EST and left the complaint ID and a phone number for you to reach meWe spoke on 11/17/at approximately 11:AM wherein you gave me your email address to send the documentation and told me I have about five (5) days to send it inTo be honest, I was very surprised to see this complaintFirst of all, I never sold a cat to [redacted] *** The kitten, [redacted] was legally sold to his wife, [redacted] ***, as the contract that dictates ownership of said cat is completely under [redacted] ’s name, as well as the return address on the envelope and the copy of the state issued photo identification I get as part of my contract paperworkWith that being said, I understand the frustrations that the family hasIt’s never easy to deal with a sick pet, and then it’s never easy to then give up the sick pet because you can no longer care for the pet properlyAlthough I am very disheartened that a complaint was filed with the Revdex.com for thistransaction, but I am prepared with all the proper documentation to back up my actions in this caseWe have a contract in place to protect both the buyer and ourselves, the seller, from situations like thisThe seller was given ample time to read, understand, and ask questions about our contractWe received the signed contract as well as a copy of the buyers state issued photo identification to prove it was them who signed the contract and deposit for the kitten they wantedOur contract clearly states that we do not offer any cash refundsWe also do not cover minor things such as parasites, bacteria, etc since those things can be picked up at anytime, anywhereOur contract states that a replacement kitten of equal value will be given to the buyer if the vet deems that the cat has a deadly congenital health defect and the cat is returned to usWe were never supplied with anything stating [redacted] had a deadly congenital health defect nor was the kitten returnedOur attempts to go above and beyond to help with [redacted] were denied by [redacted] as wellWe went above and beyond our contract to try and solve this issue, including offering a replacement kitten from a future litter, offering to take [redacted] back here, treat her at our expense at our vet office, and return [redacted] when she was betterIn addition, we started testing our own cats for the parasite that [redacted] was diagnosed withIf the parasite did in-fact come from us, our cats would have been diagnosed with it as well, which they were not Our contract also states we do not cover any veterinary bills unless first agreed upon in writingWe did agree to pay the $towards testing as well as $to obtain the cat to find her a better home Lastly, the buyer agreed in the contract not to allow [redacted] to roam freely outdoors at any time, which was breeched twice that I knowOnce in a video they sent me of [redacted] escaping through a tear in their screen door, and them allowing her to just walk around outside, showing no haste to get her, and the second time through first hand testimony from the person who picked her up, who said “she was outside roaming around when I got there” Our contract strictly states that [redacted] will not be allowed to roam freely outdoorsThis is something we feel very strongly about because of the dangers (they can become ill from drinking out of standing puddles, become ill or killed by other animals, hurt or killed by running in front of cars, and many other dangers with allowing a cat to roam freely outside)We provide a harness and leash with all of our kittens that go home so that they can be walked outsideWe also recommend enclosures such as “catios” to allow the cats to go in and out as they please, but keeps them safe from the dangers of being outsideThrough the screen shots you will also see that the advice of her veterinarian was also not followed because she did not agree with the vetGiven the fact that she has breached my contract has shown she has not listened to medical advice from her own veterinarian, has lied to me in the about what she has and has not done with [redacted] and has been offered support well above and beyond the contractual requirements, I will not be offering any further refund, compensation, or replacements and ask that this complaint be closed, if not on the basis that the complainant was filed from someone I did not even sell [redacted] to, than based on the facts and evidence provided in this packetI will first go through their complaint and address that line by lineI will then provide a summary of what happened from the time we first made contact, until the time [redacted] no longer owned ***I will provide documentation, screen shots of our conversations in order of date with important areas highlighted/marked/and or annotated, as well as a copy of the contract that was signed, the envelope it was mailed to me in, and the copy of the state issued identification I obtained with the contract paperworkPlease bear with me while I go through this step by step, and I apologize in advance for how lengthy this will beThank you very much for your time, Elena K***attachments

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I do not accept the response from the seller and I feel it is filled with inaccurate statements and the seller decided to pick and choose messages between us to her advantage.  However, I do not wish to pursue this any further.  We loved [redacted] very much and tried to follow all the professional advice we could (if someone gives you multiple options and you choose one option as opposed to another it does not mean you have rejected their advice) as well as trying what the seller advised.  At this time we wish to just move on from this. Regards,   [redacted]
