On March 29,my husband and I went to Friendly Honda to purchase ATV's off Airline HwyWhen Sale Rep*** ask for all my information and check stub she was inform that I was going threw my credit UnionShe stated that's fine they checking to make sure they have all the information but why waiting they call us to the finance department were we was been forced several time by to guys to use a Agent of there choice and asking for a $dollar down payment on a used ATV and nothing on the New ATVThey continue to ask me what was my APR on my old bike after I told them they stated they have never hear a APR that low since they been doing itAlso told me that the credit union is like having a best-friend that you can go to in borrow money and pay them back but if you keep using them and going back they going to eventually turn you downI then stated to them I have never been turn down in the last or more year I have deal with them, at this point one of the guy looked at the other and put his head on the tableAfter speaking about the total cost of both bikes with one been 8,and the other one was 7,the total after tax, title and license came to over $20,000.They would not accept that I wanted to use my credit union as any answerKept stating what if you are not approvedI then stated to them I'll coming back in then use you allI then ask what time y'all going to fax my information to the credit union he stated when we get a chanceSo I just got tried any said we going to get the $down payment and leftThey then stated if you don't come back today before closing the offer is not guaranteed tomorrow the rates may changeAfter running my credit score times without my permission did not know until it came to my phone from credit karma when I ask why they did it no answerThey continue to call my phone several time trying to get me to get the ATV'sI went to *** *** the next day were we purchase ATV's and was told that friendly Honda were charging a extra $5,to the bill according to the paper workI then received a letter in the mail from friendly Honda stating I was been denied due to me wanting to us my banking Institution

Staff at this dealership are using unscrupulous and in some cases illegal practices when trying to sell ATV / UTV 's
The salesman at Friendly Honda Yamaha of Baton Rouge lied to me about a factory-to-customer incentive where I was supposed to receive a free winch with my purchase Instead the salesman said he would "throw in" a winch if I was willing to accept a low number for my trade The finance manager kept avoiding my question when I asked if there were any rebates or incentives available for me He failed to make me aware of a free month extended warranty when I asked him how much one would cost Luckily I went home that night without doing the deal and looked up the incentives on the Yamaha web site I called the salesman in the morning and gave him another chance to mention the winch incentive but he still didn't fess up In Louisiana, if a dealership is participating in a factory to consumer rebate or incentive, they are not allowed to negotiate the deal using those incentives unless they make you aware of the incentive They broke the lawI contacted the general manager by email who admitted they had done wrong and told me he would sell me the vehicle I was interested in at cost in order to make things right The next day he lied to me about cost and tried to squeeze another $to $out of me next I reported them to Yamaha who told me all they could do is send me a survey This would have been my 4th Yamaha ATV / UTV I have bought from this store Not only will never go back to this store again; but I was so disgusted with how Yamaha blew it off, I have also bought my last Yamaha UTV The staff at Friendly Honda Yamaha from the top to bottom are willing to lie and steal from their customers even the previously loyal ones
