While roofing the shed the homeowner stopped our work and said he wanted it installed exactly as it was previously, not the way we were doing the work. We explained to him that it was not previously done correctly.  He insisted that we do it his way.  Which we did and it failed inspection....

We then redid it per industry standards and building code requirements.   As far as the reused flashing concern, I am not sure what he is referring to as we purchased and installed 8 X 8 Prevent flashing and 4” X 5” for the shed.   The gutters were slopped correctly, but one 12’ section was not to his liking.  We sent a crew back out to redo that area.  While they were adjusting the slope, he told them to get off his property and that he was calling the police to throw them off. They completed the work and left as requested.   We then sent a field supervisor out to inspect the work, talk with the homeowner about his concerns and handle any issues he might have. The homeowner threw the inspection notice at him and slammed the door in his face, unwilling to converse with him.   This homeowner was complicated to deal with throughout the process but the roof was installed per industry standards, manufacture specifications, and all building code requirements. The city building inspectors have inspected the roof and finalized the permit.

I choose white roofing because they been in business 66 years and do not sub contract out lies they sub out the gutters to 300 gutters  and probably the roof . When they removed the roof there was no dumper or trailer to collect the old roof just dump it in the yard.I had 16 nails on main roof ,13 nails on shed ,13 nails on lean two and 2 on the porch that were in the wrong place.shinges on top of the flashing on the porch.First inspection failed old flashing re used on chimney and on patio sides. Was to have 5 inch flashing on shed and lean two ,it was only 1 inch flashing and when fixed it was put on top of the shingles on the down hill side bad workmanship. 30 screws put on 12 feet of gutter bad workmanship.2nd inspection found a valley between house and patio ,when sun came out it sank. I took a 5 gallon bucket of water on roof inspector pour it and it form a lake. bad workmanship. they threw  old flashing away and roof over the seam that would have not lasted a year did not fix the flashing on patio and lean two.3rd inspection they trick the inspector into passing roof the patio and lean two are still not fixed City of [redacted] hire temporary inspectors with 3 hours training  the 3 rd inspection got a tempory inspector that was not  aware of the problems now I am stuck with bad workmanship on my roof  This is bad workmanship This company bad practice , communication and exhausted workers is no way to run a business
