My friends and I were enjoying a day at the beachWe followed signs and parked accordingly next to some other vehiclesWhen we come back, my car was goneAnd so was another family's just one access point down from usI called the PCB police and they informed us that it was with White's towing and that they will be sending an officer down to speak with usI called the towing company and the first words outta her mouth were "cash onlyNo change." I asked why we were towed and she told me that we we were parked in a bike lane and that the PCB police asked them to move our vehiclesClaimed we were on access point and the other family was on (30ish off so not even close) Now she wants to get smartI asked exactly where they were located and she said what good would that be if I had nothing to write it down onI tried explaining that everything we had was in that car and she told me good luck getting thereThat's rude as all get out, ma'amThankfully, we waited for the police and they said the bike lane thing was bs and that they will figure out exactly what was going on but they also needed to talk to the other familyThe officer came back and explained that we were towed in errorIt was not authorized by the police department and shouldn't have even been towedThey illegally towed our carsAnd apparently, it happens often but most people just pay the fineThe awesome officer had myself and one member of the other family given a ride to go pick up our carsWe get there and they are parked out front but the doors to the building were lockedI called and explained what we were there for and the lady said to just take em and goDidn't even wanna confront me face to face or apologizeUnfortunately, this is not where it endsAs I was pulling out of the parking lot, I cursed at the traffic I had to cross to get back to my friends (Are you f-ing serious?) just as the tow truck driver happened to be pulling inHe stopped his truck and started screaming at me so I rolled down my windowClaimed I called him a name because he can read lips so I asked him what I saidHe claims I called him a f-ing mnActually, I didn't but (assuming he was the driver who ILLEGALLY towed my vehicle and isn't getting paid for it) if the shoe fits, buddyhe starts calling me a f-ing [redacted] repeatedly and telling me to go suck a [redacted] at which this point I am rolling up my window waiting for an oppurtunity to crossHe parks his truck, gets out and starts approaching my vehicleNow, I am a year old female who is weeks PREGNANT so I got scared and I pulled out in traffic, cutting some people off (which I do feel bad about)I would give this company no stars if I could because even is just too muchSo be carefulIf they tow your vehicle, call PCB police first to see if it was even legal
I agree totally with the reveiw from the woman who got her vehicles towed in error it come to my knowledge I had a operater lein against my tag when I went to get it renewed and I had been driving almost a year that way with no knowledge of it while I was out of state someone took truck from my daughter residece where I had left it parked and wrecked in a fence on a dirt road nearby and towed to there I thought I just gave them truck for wrecker bill and it was over but no they have a lein against me for over and state I owe that in storage when in office I mysel was heated the woman there did nothing to try to help me resolve the matter just demaded money and payment could not even acknowledge her fault in having the mistake of to really be today I plan to try to resolve by making attemtempt to pay if they are willing to help due to storm I had to relocate and sure cant afford any tickets or fines I will post how things went
