Short version: AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Chris B. is the individual who runs this company. We used him initially for two tubs. He was quick in returning phone calls and even coming out for the initial job. Unfortunately, both tubs had peeling and cracking within months. One of the tubs had a minimal leak - we did not try to claim any additional work under warranty - we paid him for a second refinishing on that tub after the leak was fixed. Within a month, that tub was peeling again. We called Chris out once again - he did show up after multiple missed appointments (with no calls or apologies). He peeled back some of the lining and applied some chemicals. Chris then said he would return the next day at a specified time. Not only did he not show, he did not have the courtesy to call to acknowledge his missed appointment or reschedule. We have now been trying to reach him for weeks to no avail. We are unfortunately left with two unusable tubs and no usable warranty as far as we can see. Chris is running a scam. Use another company at any cost. Chris appears to have set up a number of companies - these include: Whiterock Refinishing, Blackrock Refinishing, Castle Refinishing, and SoCal Refinishing.

Review: We had a very bad experience with [redacted] and Whiterock Refinishing. Here is a list of problems we had: 1. We paid $2000.00 for our 2 bathrooms to be "refinished" with a lifetime guarantee and 2 new shower doors. We have a plastic base in our master shower but [redacted] promised it would look like new or he would make it right. 2. He sprayed the tile and plastic basin (our house smelled like a toxic wasteland for a week) and installed the shower doors. BUT the master shower door was an inch taller than our tile! It looks ridiculous. I called [redacted] the same day he installed and he agreed to purchase a new shower door and install it. He never kept his promise on this. 3. A few weeks after the refinishing our shower soap dish started to crack and peel. AND the plastic basin didn't hold the refinishing because the old stains showed through. 4. Called and texted [redacted] about the peeling, shower door and stains on the plastic basin and he let me know he had family issues and wouldn't be available for a month. I understand family takes priority and told him I hoped that everything was going to be okay.5. A month goes by and I contact him again. He sets an appointment to come look at the problem but doesn't show. I texted and called him several times. No answer. He made quite a few promises and never kept them and did not abide by the "lifetime warranty". 6. He false advertised about his lifetime warranty and product's quality.Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund of $1000. I am going to have to have the bathroom redone now.

Review: Whiterock Refinishing sprayed my tub for $295 with a lifetime warranty. It looked great. But within a couple of weeks small cracks showed up. I called and had a little trouble getting him there for a refinish. He did, but it didn't look that great as a sprayover. I accepted it though as all good. Then it got more cracks. He said it wasn't a crack, it was the material separating. After several attempts to get him back, he redid it. The third time, he said next time he would redo the whole thing if it happened again. We made an appointment a month out. He said the 2nd of September. A couple of calls and texts to confirm the appointment went unanswered until the day of the appointment. A lady called and said she had him booked somewhere else that week, and her paperwork showed the following week. So the next week I called to confirm the appointment, but no answer to the text, and both phone numbers voicemail boxes were "full" and could not accept messages. He did not show up. He has never called again. I am at the end of my patience, and the tub continues to crack.Desired Settlement: I require a full refund for sub-par work and materials and the aggravation of having to repeatedly call and call and rearrange my schedule for appointments that are never kept. Want $295 refunded so that I can have the work redone by a professional.
