I took my vehicle 2002 Nissan Maxima to get coil number 2 changed. He said it would take about an hour and it will be about $100 . He then called me and recommended that while it with the part I might as well get a tuneup I agreed. A tuneup for Nissan Maxima may be about $500 at Nissan . Hey is charge was also over $500 but when I saw the detailed report I see that my mission coil was charged $114.98 , replacing the coil was the extra $170 , six spark plugs cost $126.96 , $58.95 to analyze the situation . What do you need to analyze when you just need a tuneup ? Hazardous waste and supplies was it extra $14.16 . Let's not forget the auto technical support for $1.25 . I recommend that you do not use this guy JR.

I had a truck picked up from Seale, Al, gave the directions to secretary and was told by JR that the cost of the towing was $50. This was also given to my father who had already asked this question. The truck was picked up, I was told I would be told the news of the problem by Saturday. I had not heard from them, so I called Saturday around 11 am. They said they were getting ready to look at the truck now. They did not call on Saturday to let me know of the problem. My dad and I were both told the cost of the radiator repair should be around $300-$350 to remove and replace with a new one. The cost of the radiator turned out to be $220, labor was $170 and they charged me for a flush due to what JR called "oil in my radiator". He made it sound as though I had way more problems than just a cracked radiator. I was told the total of the job would now be around $460. When I got there to pick up truck, the price was $595+. That is when I was told about the $70 towing fee, which was quoted as being $50. He told this price to me and my father. It turned out I had NO leak on oil into my radiator. I had told him BEFORE he picked up my truck I had added a stop leak to the radiator earlier. He said to me at the store, he did not know if it was oil or not, and he could not recall me telling him that about the stop leak. His story continued to change, saying it was oil then it was not. While this was going on, I had set my hat, keys to my other car and my wallet on the counter. At some point HE REACHED OVER AND TOOK MY CAR KEYS FROM MY HAT. When we signed and paid for the truck, he gave me my keys to what he thought was the truck, it was my Toyota. He literally stole my keys from my hat in order to keep me from taking my truck. What a jerk. Then when I came back he looked confused when I told him what he did and then acted like he had already given me my truck keys. He is a liar and I argue he stole an extra $100+ from us on the work he completed. The same radiator he bought costs $175-$185 every where else I looked. I advise anyone to make him give you a break down cost to EVERYTHING he charges for before letting him work on your car.
