The response was prompt, the owner understanding of my urgent need and gave me a very reasonable price, right over the phone! She had me contact the repairman, Dago, and gave me his direct line to speed up the processDago asked me to take photos and send them, and came the next morning (a Sunday, mind you) and surveyed the jobMy forty year old galvanized pipes were a problem, but he found a water heater that fit after tons of his own time looking for it, and ended out modifying my whole intake and valve system for only more than the original quote! After the install and hours of work, he had my new water heater up and runningTo top it off, HE MOPPED MY FLOOR!~ Unbelievable! I called Alaska Refrigeration Air Conditioning & heating Company to fix wall heaters in my living room and bedroom An Alaska repairman arrived and worked in silence and communicated less than to my comfort zone I was never sure of what he was doing or his findings or if he repaired anything Eventually the repairman handed me a write up and I paid $on my credit card I believe I heard him say that the bedroom heater is fixed and that a thermostat is need for the living room heater At this point the repairman left After waiting almost a week for a follow up visit from the repairman to install the thermostat, I called and spoke with someone who represented herself as the ownerShe reviewed the file and stated that she too was confused about what was going on with my heater repairs and offered that the repairman reported that I declined any further work on my heaters This is far from true I assumed that the owner would treat the matter with priority as I am a paying customer After not hearing back from the owner for four or five days I telephoned and left a message and threatened to invoke my consumer protection rightsThis call went un-responded and eventually some days later I received a call from someone that identified himself as the repairman I informed this person that I would only speak with the owner This is the last I heard from Alaska Refrigeration Air Conditioning and Heating Company Beware, this company’s organization behavior proved not customer friendly for me
