I have had a negative dealing with this companyThe contractor took my money that was suppose to purchase singles and I haven't been able to get the job done or get my money back .I would never recommend him to anyoneLots of lies and promises to be there the next week

*** *** was not forced to pay invoice for the work doneWe submitted her an invoice and she paid the invoice, but deducted the extra outdoor light and installation of the lights on the front and back door, She said she did not feel she owed that money because she felt outdoor lights
should of been included with the door installWe had explained to her that we never discussed lighting per the contract, and was not charged for the lightsShe paid remaining balance in full, when she paid the balance the repairs that she is stating needs to be done was never mentioned
Whitney Contracting has no problem addressing some of the issues1)Underpinning was never to be framed with studs and does not need to be framedWhen we read the complaint that was the first time we have ever heard of this, in which her statement is falseThe door installation has never been brought to our attention, but we have no problem looking at it the issuePictures of the door will determine if this should be a concern or not, the gutters are properly installedThe mobile home is years old and there is only one way we can install the gutter systemThe gutter system has not leaked to our knowledgeThe roof coating material is exactly what she picked out from *** and was the same product she had on there beforehand*** was there during the time entire installation of this product and she never mentioned that she expected something differentThere was never a gallon bucket of roofing sealer dropped on this roof,, that is also a statementWhitney Contracting never agreed to fix any existing leak problems with the existing roofFrom our experience with this customer her personality and satisfaction of the job changed from day to day
Whitney Contracting would like to resolve the problem with any real issue that she has with her trailerWhen final payment was made by her she was very happy about the completed work
Thank You,

First off , the agreement to start this project was not weeks from contract date due to these shingles being a (special order)This was only a estimation because at the time of the transaction we were unsure of lead time on receiving this product .We did require a dollar good faith deposit
because of the product having to be ordered specially for this job .The shingle cost was $4400.00We still have this product in our warehouse .We did receive the product approximately weeks after our agreement was signed We also received installation instruction on this product at the same time .After reviewing the degree of difficulty on installing this product I contacted the homeowner to inform him that I needed to reach out to a contractor that I had worked with in the past to install this roofing shingle due to him having experience with this product installation .I told the homeowner that the contractor had a few jobs in front of his and there would be at least a to week delay on starting .I also informed him I had no problem dropping the material at his location to protect his investment After this discussion he had no problem waiting but did not want the product dropped off .He was okay with us bringing at time of the installation .The reason the homeowner was okay with this was most likely because our company had built a room addition for him several years earlier and he was very satisfied We were also installing many roofs in his neighborhood on a daily basis so he most likely was not worried about us fulfilling our agreement .After to weeks from contract I called him and informed him we were week from starting his job .The homeowners informed me they decided to not have the roof installed and he had changed his mind I informed him I could not refund the money but would be more than happy to drop off the product he had purchased He refused Because this is a special order product we cannot get a refund from our supplier .None of this made sense to our company It was made pretty clear to me that after having a few conversation via text message that this became a personal dispute and not a business dispute .Our company felt that during these texts the homeowner was obviously not himself and we did not really no what was going on .Waiting weeks for a roof installation at the time was not out of the ordinary due to a massive hail storm in our town at the time and the locals were as much as months out on installs .To this day the homeowner has not chosen to accept the material and we have not refunded the dollars .We feel this could easily be worked out but due to this getting personal we are kind off at a stand still .In closing the delay for installation was never a problem because the homeowners wanted a experienced crew that has installed this product before .This all changed one night and this homeowner was almost impossible to discuss this business situation .I strongly feel that alcohol and business do not mix and I feel that the homeowner chose to deal with this when alcohol was involved on his part .We hate to make that conclusion but I'm certain that was the issue and that was when it became personal .Thank you*** ***Whitney Contractors Group

First off , the agreement to start this project was not 2 weeks from contract date due to these shingles being a (special order)This was only a estimation because at the time of the transaction we were unsure of lead time on receiving this product .We did require a 2000 dollar good faith deposit...

because of the product having to be ordered specially for this job .The shingle cost was $4400.00We still have this product in our warehouse .We did receive the product approximately 2 weeks after our agreement was signed . We also received installation instruction on this product at the same time .After reviewing the degree of difficulty on installing this product . I contacted the homeowner to inform him that I needed to reach out to a contractor that I had worked with in the past to install this roofing shingle due to him having experience with this product installation .I told the homeowner that the contractor had a few jobs in front of his and there would be at least a 4 to 6 week delay on starting .I also informed him I had no problem dropping the material at his location to protect his 2000 investment . After this discussion he had no problem waiting but did not want the product dropped off .He was okay with us bringing at time of the installation .The reason the homeowner was okay with this was most likely because our company had built a room addition for him several years earlier and he was very satisfied . We were also installing many roofs in his neighborhood on a daily basis so he most likely was not worried about us fulfilling our agreement .After 7 to 8 weeks from contract I called him and informed him we were 1 week from starting his job .The homeowners informed me they decided to not have the roof installed and he had changed his mind . I informed him I could not refund the money but would be more than happy to drop off the product he had purchased . He refused . Because this is a special order product we cannot get a refund from our supplier .None of this made sense to our company . It was made pretty clear to me that after having a few conversation via text message that this became a personal dispute and not a business dispute .Our company felt that during these texts the homeowner was obviously not himself and we did not really no what was going on .Waiting 8 weeks for a roof installation at the time was not out of the ordinary due to a massive hail storm in our town at the time and the locals were as much as 6 months out on installs .To this day the homeowner has not chosen to accept the material and we have not refunded the 2000 dollars .We feel this could easily be worked out but due to this getting personal we are kind off at a stand still .In closing the delay for installation was never a problem because the homeowners wanted a experienced crew that has installed this product before .This all changed one night and this homeowner was almost impossible to discuss this business situation .I strongly feel that alcohol and business do not mix and I feel that the homeowner chose to deal with this when alcohol was involved on his part .We hate to make that conclusion but I'm certain that was the issue and that was when it became personal .Thank you[redacted]Whitney Contractors Group
